SA parochialism aside, is this a problem? My point is that it will not be long before the calls go out for Inglis to replace Carey, it is all so predictable.

God I can't wait for the Lankans to next beat them.Pommie media blasting our men's cricketers for "stats padding" against a minnow cricketing country in the Sri Lankans.
Of course they are 100% correct. And of course they've never done that before themselves either!
I actually think our women's cricket side is more blatant than the men at this. The brazen hussies
Been stats padding to the extreme against the worst sporting team I've ever seen - the English women's cricketers![]()
They should be blasting their own girls for their fielding at the MCG!!!Pommie media blasting our men's cricketers for "stats padding" against a minnow cricketing country in the Sri Lankans.

The Medal came into vein ‘late’ or recently, Warne didn’t play much ODI cricket in the back half of his career, injury and that pesky pill mum gave him saw to that. There was ‘always’ a rift between him and the rest of the playing group, possibly driven by S.Waugh if rumours are to be believed, and you question the politics behind the voting.I am bemused that Shane Warne never won an Alan Border Medal yet Shane Watson won twice and Mitchell Marsh won last year. No justice in that.
Surely this innings puts paid to any thought of Carey losing his spot!!!

I knew Tendulkar has 51 and Kallis and Ponting have in the 40's but had to look up where Smith sits in that top 7 and top 10. He has a great conversion rate and is behind Younis Khan and fractionally behind Kallis.Smith with his 36th century joins Root and Dravid in the top 7. 3 more and he could go past Sangakkara.
