Konstas a good move , Usman should be out , Starc and Cummins got him knicking off in the nets today , he's done.
Head in doubt with Quad , who comes in Inglis or Webster ?
Next in will be Cooper Connelly can do it all .
Vics need to get another Under 19 with Konstas in Harry Dixon

Webster would be smart move if head misses, as he provides additional bowling option. 40c then good weather for the rest of the test.

I went to a Big Bash game last night, and it reminded me of a type of person I'll never understand... those who root for a Big Bash team, rather than just hoping for a great display of batting from either team. 41,000 people cheering as their side turned an entire innings into a game of singles, dot balls and wickets.

Since the Grand Final, I’ve been contemplating if there has ever been a more mentally soft bunch of sportsmen than our boys in a Grand Final. Today, I think I got my answer.
Bumrah is a once in a generation bowler
Goodbye Usman and Mitch . In Webster for Marsh and Usman can have a farewell.
Please do not play Abbot.

Geez - a bit over the top?

His problem is not that he can't bat or bowl (he can do both pretty well) but rather that he hasn't had an opportunity to get into any form so far this year. There are others who have, and other countries would give their left nut to have someone like Neser in their team - it's just unfortunate that his career coincides with possibly the best bowling quartet Australia has ever had.
Lillee , Thommo , Walker, Pascoe , Alderman and Gilmour

They didn't all bowl together, though. Did they? However, assuming that they did - your group of 6 bowlers claimed 981 test wickets, while Lyon, Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood total 1568 test wickets. All in the same attack.

They have all played more tests this lot . Lillee and Alderman had bad injuries
If i had to pick 4 for a team it would be Lillee, Thommo , Alderman and Cummins

Sure, but you are changing the topic. My point was that Neser can't squeeze into this bowling attack because they will go down amongst the list of all-time greats to bowl for Australia.

By the way, you piqued my interest so I googled the number of WSC Super Test wickets they got.
Lillee - 67
Gilmour - 23
Thomson - 16
Pascoe - 30
Alderman - 28
Walker - 28

Some great names and memories in there. By the way, consider the poor Sydney grade opening batsmen when they had to front up against Bankstown and face Thomson and Pascoe...!

Not changing any topic at all . Thommo , Lille and Alderman all had long term injuries

If you have been involved in cricket like i have since the Bradman days , blokes that bowled a bit slower and maybe most pommy bowlers have been called that , maybe read further for my praise of him
Ps i was on the BBQ at my club last night volunteering . Hope you put in somewhere and sorry i didn't read war and peace
Spewing i didn't see WG Grace
You did not reply to your denigration of Glenn McGrath. I suspect you are embarrassed.
I take that as you don't know about McGrath or Australian cricket.

To call Glenn McGrath a pie thrower is like saying Bradman was not a batsman.

I doubt your knowledge of cricket.

After playing 356 games and 917 wickets, coaching and knees that are f'd waiting for replacements , add to that over 40 years of curating turf wickets , Don't ever lecture to me troll
I really thought you were okay
Maybe try and volunteer for 50 odd years as well
Had a gutful
