Really? That is the best overstatement for a long time.Ch 7 news said Australia were in the verge of a dynasty. Please.
Joe Root = The Square.
He’s actually a dead-ringer for my mate who was on the Hindenburg when it crashed into the stock market in 1927. It’s uncanny.
should be a good series hopefully. NZ much better at the short form of the gamePunter back in as an assistant coach.

He bowled some fantastic deliveries, particularly to Mitch Marsh when he was new. The issue is consistency, which is hardly surprising for a 20 year old leggie. Still, I reckon him and Curran are pretty much the only positives the poms can take from this series, I like the way they both go about their cricket.

Did McCullum give it away too early?
This. Drop in pitches are going to be the death of watchable test cricket.Warnie took 1-150 on his debut so I agree its not the end for this kid. He turns it too which is a big plus
Malan the other positive for the Poms
I was looking forward to this series, but jeez (as a neutral) it was pretty boring. Poor quality English side, bland pitches. Just wasn't much to get excited about.

Was this series really that unwatchable though? The first three tests were excellent examples of Test cricket and the latter two were naturally less interesting as they were dead rubbers.This. Drop in pitches are going to be the death of watchable test cricket.
The issue is that that was the last test at the WACA and soon it'll be coast to coast drop ins and more matches like that shocking MCG game will occur. Was this series really that unwatchable though? Sure, the MCG pitch was a shocker for Test cricket, but that was more the curator imo. There have been some good Tests and stuff in it for the bowlers in past drop in wickets at the G. Unfortunately I'll never forget being there when we got bowled out for 93, or whatever it was, in the 10/11 Ashes.
Does driving 2.5 hours down and back count for 1 win in 2017 count?
Joe Root = The Dud
No it shows far more committment.
Those campaigners are just going somewhere nice for winter. Cricket's an excuse.
Actually I meant to say seeing 1 win out of all the 2017 games I visited.
The GoDeez MCG win.
All the rest were losses that I made it to.
