How come Chris Lynn doesn't play much first class cricket? I remember scoring well when he was 20-21 and he was being talked up as a potential test opener but I don't think he has played much over the last 12 months especially

Should be playing 20/20 and ODIs regularly for Australia.

Looks like fun with the Renegades, wickets and no balls. If they weren't giving way so many extras this would be all over, if it isn't quite already.

Would have preferred Zampa and Maxwell/Head with an eye on India but still a pretty decent looking team.

Batting Order:

Renshaw
Warner
Khawaja
Smith
Handscomb
Starc
Cartwright
Wade
O'Keefe
Hazlewood
Lyon

Neser is a medium bowler? I'm not good enough to know why such a bowler would be useful in T20.
If they're accurate enough it limits scoring by forcing the batsman to have to generate the pace off the bat rather than using the bowlers speed to reach the boundary.

Medium pacers are also a little less common than fast/spinners so it can put some batsman off and get them out to shit balls.

Ta. Knew someone would get what I didn't.

David Warner, you are a freak.

The Aussie opener created history when he notched a century before lunch at the SCG in an incredible batting display. The left-hander became the first player to ever score a ton before lunch on the opening day of a Test match in Australia.

He also became just the fifth player in history to score a century in the opening session on the first day of a Test, and the first to do so in 40 years. Pakistan’s Majid Khan was the last man to do it against New Zealand in 1976.

The 30-year-old is in special company. Don Bradman was the last Australian to score a century before lunch on the first day all the way back in 1930 against England at Headingley. He went on to post 334.

Warner brought up his 18th Test century off 78 balls when he steered a ball behind point for three. He pummelled 17 boundaries in his ridiculous knock.

“We’ve never seen it before,” Bill Lawry said in commentary for Channel Nine. “It’s a great moment for Test cricket.”

The New South Welshman’s remarkable ton was the fastest ever at the SCG and his third in as many Tests at his home ground.

Warner amazing knock. Hit nearly everything out of the middle.

Really like look of Handscomb. Seems to have lot of time when making strokes.

Congrats to Renshaw to keep composed after the nasty hit to get his century.

Renshaw is exactly what we need at the top order. Really values his wicket. Perfect balance to have with a quick scorer in Warner.

Doesn't have a huge array of shot at the minute at test level, but he has shown he can score a bit quicker at first class level.

Going to be a bit of a baptism of fire for him in India but this hundred will do his confidence a world of good.

He has all the shots, he just chooses not to use all of them early when the ball is new. It wasn't until he got to 70odd that the cut shot and the drives came out. Just nudged the ball through the leg side and left the wide ones outside of early.

The missed stumping for Handscombe was some of the worst wicketkeeping you'll see.

The Pakis really are are combo of massive talent and awful faults, nothings changed going off this test series.

They gave it a shot early in the series but now that have packed it in.

The Pakis to me are like "tough Indians".

The latter rarely bother to even show any resistance here outside a cameo or two, yet in my lifetime the Pakis usually turn up and are aggressive, certainly put in for a contest.....until eventually it's too hard and they just self combust.

It will be interesting how we go in India. Everyone is raving about us sure and that's great, but i wouldn't be surprised if India comfortably have us covered over there, especially our batsmen.

Will be a much harder test. Looking forward to it!
