Ok, Maxwell has got to tea supporting Smith. Fingers crossed he can keep it up and stay around a while.
I have no dog in the Maxwell/Wade fight but I haven't seen evidence that Wade can give out lessons in batting patience. They both need to knuckle down.
Not that impressive. We really needed him to stand up in the first test and today. He was lauded as the most consistent of our batsman on the sub continent and that's why he took Uzzie's spot in the side. We needed more from him considering how big a move it was for him to replace an in form Batsman. A move that to me has not paid dividends.
