They rolled England there in a test last year too. Two arrogant test teams taking on a rising power with the best all rounder in the world, in all forms of the game, and they're duly done over in those tricky conditions. As Ronald Dale would say "serves ya bloody right!"

Agree: Bangladesh are *much* better these days than they have been in the past. That said, we have a number of guys out of form at the moment with the bat. Smith and Renshaw need to find some form, for instance. Hate to say it, but not sure Handscomb is the best option at #5 and I've never really rated Khawaja that much at test level. We need Mitchell Starc back ASAP, especially with Hazlewood out. Would love to see Pattinson back in for the Ashes: he is a brilliant test bowler on Australian pitches. Plenty of time yet before the first test in Brisbane to sort all this out.

Our decks have become generic. There used to be a difference across the country, Gabba and WACA with bounce, but Gabba had the humidity and Perth had the Doctor which affected them differently. SYD and ADL would turn, but differently. ADL late in the test and had bounce, SYD was lower bounce. MEL was always a great track, if it wasn't raining! Now they just all seem to be the same roads.
