Wade is a regular old fashioned chirpy wicketkeeper.

It's their job to get in the ear of the batsman.

He may be a flog but no reason to make the batsmans life easier by keeping quiet.

Wade.

Farks sake. Flog of the highest order. Watch him sledge Amla, then proceed to drop him of a regulation snick.

Would rather of kept Neville.
I'll raise yah Wade and give yah a Lyons. In all seriousness how this Turkey is still in the Test Squad is beyond me. David Boon used to get more spin on his "nude" balls than this Twit. :stern look

According to Peter Lalor he was out until O'Keefe got injured.

Like the changes. I personally would of had Patterson over Maddinson, but its change and it's exactly what Australian cricket needs. Renshaw is a massive bolter, first shield game of the year gets a 50 and a 100+. Admittedly haven't seen much of him but hope he goes well.

Lyon on his last chance I would think. Lucky for him O'Keefe and Agar are currently injured.

Let's hope the youngsters go on to make some runs, would love to see a bloke like Handscomb stay in the team for a while.

Same old selection pattern.

Well, for starters, it isn't.

Renshaw is only the second 20-year old specialist batsman to debut in the last 30 years. The other is Phillip Hughes.

Handscomb is 25 (?) and has broken the door down through consistent performances. Bird is finally being given a crack. Wade back in is a weird decision, as is Maddinson over Patterson, and Sayers is being rewarded for good form.

The fact that it's six in six out is already different to how selection has usually gone in the past. I am amongst the first to jump on the Australian cricket selectors when they get it wrong, but from all appearances they're trying desperately to change things.

Also as Zondor mentioned, the opportunity was there for them to make a seventh change. Zampa or even Holland - who took 4 wickets for not much in the Shield - could've been given a go. Had O'Keefe not gotten injured they would have made 7 changes to the team. That's fairly ballsy selection.

The Maddinson selection is one of the most blatant favouritism based selections in recent times.

Yeah I'd have him out regardless. Surely Zampa could have been given a go? :stern look

LOL at all those suggesting Zampa. Getting sucked in by T20 form.

Have you seen his 1st class record?

55 wickets @ 50.52 in 23 games. Goes at over 4 an over and strikes once every 12 overs.
