I like the look of Renshaw, reckon he'll be a good opener.

Has played and missed a shit load but doesnt look to faze him to much.

Alastair Cook has racked up nearly 11k runs being a boring campaigner.

I reckon Renshaw will open the shoulders a bit more once he plays a few games but would love to see an opener that can face 200 balls regularly.

Likely to win from here but the Selectors should feel some added pressure following the game, refuse to make changes and get us in an absolutely trash position, finally make changes and things looking better.

He hasn't had to play any other type of innings than the two he's played. Values his wicket, rides his luck, concentrates but needs to find more shots, rotate the strike and put bad balls away.

tbqh, id rather see this out of a 20 year old than an opener throwing the willow around and going out with a shit shot.

Anyway, he has proved his defense is very good and concentration better.

It appears that a generation of cricket fans literally do not know what test batting looks like.
