Renshaw is exactly what we need at the top order. Really values his wicket. Perfect balance to have with a quick scorer in Warner.

Doesn't have a huge array of shot at the minute at test level, but he has shown he can score a bit quicker at first class level.

Going to be a bit of a baptism of fire for him in India but this hundred will do his confidence a world of good.
Chris Rogers on ABC was saying he expects them to bring Shaun Marsh back - fair for the public to wonder why, but he has a proven record in India that is worth more than we think.

Would love Renshaw to be rewarded though - he can't do more than he has as an opening bat and a first slip. Love watching him and Hanscomb - if North's kids come through like those two we will have a fun year.

The Pakis to me are like "tough Indians".

The latter rarely bother to even show ny resistance here outside a cameo or two, yet in my lifetime the Pakis usually turn up and are aggressive, certainly put in for a contest.....until eventually it's too hard and they just self combust.

It will be interesting how we go in India. Everyone is raving about us sure and that's great , but i wouldn't be surprised if India comfortably have us covered over there, especially our batsmen. Looking forward to it!

I think we'll struggle in India.

They just smashed the Poms, our batsmen will struggle against the turning ball. Ashwin and Jadeja will kill us. We have too many holes in our line up, Kwahaja is a good bat but was shown up in Sri Lanka. We'll need Smith and Warner to dominate, Handscomb plays spin well, S.Marsh will probably come in at 6.

India had no trouble with England's spinners so I can't see Lyon and O'Keefe doing much damage. Can Starc and Hazelwood get reverse swing?

TLDR - We're screwed. India 3-0. 1 draw.

Renshaw probably booked his spot to India today. Marsh might come in at 6 or 3 if Kwahaja gets founds out against spin again

Great knock by Renshaw he opened up once he got his hundred amazing he is only 20.
Warner is a freak keeps getting runs, he and Smith are run machines.

The top 5 are looking Solid and have all made runs, they deserve their spot in India imo.

Lucky for us he moved countries twice after being born in England. Playing him now doesn't permanently tie him to us like it would soccer but hopefully he wants to stick around.

He has all the shots, he just chooses not to use all of them early when the ball is new. It wasn't until he got to 70odd that the cut shot and the drives came out. Just nudged the ball through the leg side and left the wide ones outside of early.

Yeah, you know, like a proper opener.

T20 commentary is appalling. I had to walk away.

Really? I don't mind it.

They manage to have a bit of banter, without it being in a wanky, condescending way, like Slater, Warne et al.

The players are good, Howard and Maher are just try hard fanboys.

I reckon Ponting is excellent, has the occasional joke but offers plenty of insight and straightens the conversation up. Could never work out why he copped so much shit when he was captain. Seems like a good bloke and makes Clarke look like polished knob that he truly is.

Yeah i prefer the T20 commenators over Healy trying to tell O Keefe how to bowl spin in todays test.
Same with Clarke trying to tell Smith what field he should be setting.
Or Warne throwing his two cents in...

Haha Healy. The funniest is when Healy starts playing doctor and trying to assess an injury.
