[Heaps of fun]

It’s all a mental game with S.Marsh & Khawaja. Technically, both are really solid cricketers, but as soon as their is a hint of pressure they both go to water. Also frustrating how often they lose their wickets with stupid shots, it’s test cricket, back your timing.

I think Khawaja is suffering from all the pressure of being the best batsman in the side.
Bit worrying that even if we had Smith and Warner in Shaun Marsh would still be our fourth best run scorer.

Then he is mentally flawed. All a batsman has to do is bat. Lyon & Cummings have managed to work it out.

He can't make runs consistently in the Shield and is flakey in ODI's. Doesn't deserve it.

Both, neither are up to it.

At least when fit, Marsh's bowling is passable. Maxwell's bowling is pus.

Rather than bring in Lambuschagne or Maxwell to be the 2nd spinner they may as well use Head and bring in a recognised batsman at 6.

They'll still play 3 quicks in Sydney, 2nd spinner is going to have to be able to bat.

Fair enough, I'm just pointing out that Maxwell is a better bet than the current all rounder.

He would have been curly on the tracks in Perth & Adelaide in tandem with Lyon.

He's a genuine number 11. It's tough to carry a second spinner in test cricket when they can't contribute with the bat, particularly when your actual batsmen can't bat either.
