The comments on bookface about him the last few games mirror autopsy and game day threads here, it's hilarious!

I do agree, he isn't going well.
 
Stayed up and watched the Saffers rip through the Poms last night on what appeared to be a fairly flat wicket. Usual stuff with Stokes & Buttler (amongst others) throwing away their wickets when they were set. It will be interesting to see what SA make, as both these teams seems to be just going right now.

Paine does NOT enforce the follow-on, so Aussies have an hour or so to bat tonight. Wasn't sure what he'd do due to the forecast of some showers tomorrow.

Just goes to show the test rankings are not a great indication, especially when NZ play bottom teams twice a year every year and continue to pick geriatrics that are beyond it!

well that was crap

Aussie played smart hard cricket..and we just didn't get near to competing.


Lots of hostile reaction back here to coaches and players due to selections (no spinner. Santner has had years to perfect his craft and just nowhere near good enough ) plus Raval has been out of form for a year and they expect him to find it in Aussie ?
They also had the perfect time to try Fergusson, Astle and Sommerville against the poms and didn't. Then they expect them to perform when all they've played for the last month is 20/20 or 50 over cricket.
Plus the complete lack of balls from some players hasn't gone down well here either. Some of the mindless dismissals were just so hard to watch.

Didn't think our batting would stand up so well K.R. but our bowling line up is very hard to beat.
