David ****ing Warner...

We have a debutant and an injured player opening. Virtually every other batsmen outta form. Arguably we have the worlds best attack as witnessed in Adelaide ( 36 )

Would bowl first.

Can't hide an entire batting line up. If they look rubbish now, and they do, then watch them bat last at the SCG against Jadeja and Ashwin. Batting was a no-brainer.

Sorry Hoju. Can't agree with that. The bit about the batsmen might be right but batting last on this pitch against those two spinners would be a nightmare. No moisture in the pitch. I can see it turning.

Watching Pucovski got that 4 with the pull shot gave me a lot of confidence.

Short ball right at his chin and his watched the ball all the way on to the bat like a hawk. A few concussions could've rattled his nerves about the short ball, but it obviously hasn't impacted his focus at all.

Bloody Sydney weather!
Rain will contribute more to saving Australian arses than playing an injured Davey Warner.

Only thing worse in recent memory was NMFC playing Ben Cunnington who needed a Zimmer frame to get onto the ground.

The result of that game was no surprise.

Will is on his way to a double on debut!

Marcus Harris must be scratching his head. Has huge form in the Shield, got in the squad, but without getting a shot at doing anything fell behind a formless crab and a makeshift keeper/middle order bat for two Tests, and when that predictably failed, got stepped over by a worthy debutant and a cripple.

- 16 in Seoul. Feels like - 23. Took my mate 4 hours to do a 30 minute trip last night. Huge snowfall.

My colleagues in Shanghai have been complaining. - 4 there today and -18 in Beijing.

I was in New York, Boston and New Hampshire for the polar vortex about six or seven years back and that was -20ish. F*ck me it was cold. We visited a wine and spirit distributor about an hour out of Boston on the coldest day and as we got there the shift in the warehouse finished. A bloke came out wearing shorts. Seriously.

As a side note that particular distributor listed their establishment date as the day after the Volstead Act was passed. Allowed them to go legit.

I suspect the selectors were happy with makeshift because they wanted this pair together.
