My colleagues in Shanghai have been complaining. - 4 there today and -18 in Beijing.

I was in New York, Boston and New Hampshire for the polar vortex about six or seven years back and that was -20ish. F*ck me it was cold. We visited a wine and spirit distributor about an hour out of Boston on the coldest day and as we got there the shift in the warehouse finished. A bloke came out wearing shorts. Seriously.

As a side note that particular distributor listed their establishment date as the day after the Volstead Act was passed. Allowed them to go legit.

When my brother comes here from Canadia he is down to shorts and a tshirt if the temperature goes above 10.

He says he wears only a shirt at work if it’s above zero.

Mark Waugh was the best (or worst) at this.

Thought he'd be LBW every second ball but kept smoking them when in form.

Funny, there was at least a few shots he played i thought - Holy shit that was more Mark Waugh than Mark Waugh.

Renegades quicks (if you can call them that) deserve a special mention. I see some saying they bowled poorly. flipping poorly, what an understatement. A little bit of pressure from guys that arent even that good - imagine bowling to top Internationals, a small ground, in a world cup final thats pressure - and they deliver full toss after full toss.

Reminds of those movies when people are running for their lives and trip over. Im always like OH FFS not that twig again. That was like watching Renegades bowlers trip while being chased by a soy transgender. On my NEVER to play again list

Greg Blewitt did a session on the video analysis about Will's balance and suggesting they had worked on it in the rain break. Was much more upright in the after shot. I suspect it will be one of those things he needs to be aware of on an ongoing basis. Bit of a case of a strength that also exposes a weakness.
