Danny Morrison would be indicative of the shorter quick bowlers that had a deadly short ball.

The Waugh brothers and MacMillan used the short ball a lot ..
I think it can be difficult to play as it balloons towards you more or you think you should play it rather than duck it due to the slower pace.

Mostly caught behind or in the slips cordon. Probably to be expected as an opener.

He loves width were he can free his hands and carve it away through the off side.

He probably still has nightmares of Stuart Broad.

Broad bowled brilliantly to him too and those tracks did a fair bit

I think sides knew how to bowl to him years ago, but the pitches were roads and he could just hit through the line.
The pitches for this series have been excellent. Good to see some encouragement for the bowlers for a change

He was still suspended for the Sri Lanka series. Bullied the Pakistanis and did okay against NZ.
