Holy Moises might help eliminate the cancer in NSW cricket. Seems a nice bloke, albeit an ordinary cricketer..
Sarnie remains the best spinner I have seen. The bitterness of ex players like MacKnob, GLawson is funny.
 
What a great innings by Jack Edwards last night along with Moey . I do miss when the tournament was played over the whole summer though. It is ridiculous all 6 teams make the finals.

NSW v the cheats in the finals.

Cam White will swing hard and keep top edging it over the boundary on the postage stamp ground. Get a call up for the ODI squad and fail to lay bat on ball before getting bowled for duck. Then walk off like he is batting on a minefield.
 
Renshaw got hit in the head fielding at short leg again yesterday and has been pulled from the game. He may struggle to get up for the first test next week after the issues he had last time it happened.

Mitch Marsh scored a hundred , Shaun got 94 and Lyon took 8 wickets .

Like Renshaw too. We need solid openers in Tests. Surprised still that Finch seems likely to get a baggy green. Still, he is a smart cricketer in a time when they have been in short supply in our Test team.

Still mystified about Marsh as vc. He averages well below 30 with the bat and over 40 with the ball. Is he the Mike Brearley of vice captaincy?

I note Warne's new book states the obvious about S Waugh being a highly selfish cricketer.as captain he:
1 was very keen on red ink
2 instructed others to go for quick runs
3 farmed the strike to the tail
4 possesses the highest ratio for surviving run outs

These are well known and have been discussed by Oz contemporaries for years.

Up there with Clarke as the least liked Oz captain since Bradman and certainly the most selfish.

He was lucky to be skipper during a golden period.

Only if he performs, which there are massive doubts over. Ok-ish one day batsman, great T20 batsman, horrid test batsman.
Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and he is good guy.

Better to give a youngster a go and let them fail, at least they will learn something.

Sam Heazlett from Qld was always a grade above Renshaw, they would do worse than give him a go.

Nothing new that he hasn't said before.
Warne's a proven dirty grub who will stoop as low as needs to sell a book.
Tugger will give his book the response it deserves. NOTHING.

It is only Warne that has called him selfish. Warne should know what selfish is....he is still sooking about being left out of the team when he was bowling shit.

Absolute ******** Steve , complete opposite to Mark. Warne is honest and will talk to anyone , has many faults , but is a true aussie.

Agree. Though I think Gilchrist was the direct opposite of Koala Snr. Doubt any of KSnr's former team mates keep in touch with him.

Gilly is a gentleman so he doesn't hold grudges, particularly against Warne who tried to sleep with his wife.
Scum of the worst kind is Warne. Not surprising that some will wash over his scum just because he could bowl.
