Wasn't just the batsman collapsing. Opposition at 5-57 at lunch on day one and they get 280.

Expect Sids was as surprised as anyone he was selected. Was ok in patches. Holland was ok in T1 but not so good in T2. Starc and Lyon had the better moments but neither would be happy.

The bigger problem was the batting. The openers were ok. Head showed he could play at this levels. The brothers Dross performed to the level expected.

Yep. The two pitches were good for batting. Agree 700 is too much, 600 would have been the pass mark. Aside from Usman, no-one looked like making a big score.
