Agree. This was a disastrous result for Oz cricket. I am cranky with Mr The King's mob for allowing the drop kick some runs. Like the grade cricket Slogger-Warner, Boggy Marsh is a FTB.

Agree re Marsh kiddies and nepotism. Langer publicly campaigned for their selection for years. Langer is the worst coach we could have appointed. He lives up to his nickname of 'brown nosed little gnome'.

Warner only makes Test runs in Oz on a hi to and. He seems disliked by other players. I think his selection would pi55ed a lot of others off. Our next big overseas is the Ashes in Pomgolia. The mug has failed comprehensively in the past. There's no reason to think he can turn that around.

No way .He only makes runs on Oz highways and is an abject fail overseas. Besides the guy is a disgrace, poor influence on mates and should not be let near any team sport.

If you have 6 other guys in our top 6 that are good test bats I’m all ears. I don’t want him near a leadership position but like Smith we don’t have the luxury to not play guys who score test tons regularly.

Every single one of our batsmen fail overseas it isn’t just Warner.

Smith and others have been better overseas. I'd back other openers ahead of him for the Ashes. Harris, Renshaw, Larkin and D Hughes and even Bancroft. Even The Fink should go ahead of Warner the turkey.

His behaviour in grade cricket justifies the view he should have received a longer ban and from all forms of cricket

That is one batsman though we still have 4 to fill! Batting depth in Australian Cricket is awful and it’s a major reason why despite you and me ideally not having Warner near an Australian side they will pick him. The public are forgiving for blokes that score runs!

Head and the Saffie showed a bit. CA lied to Maxwell about the tour v the Stan's. Not fussed whether he gets a go v BanIndia. Has never had a home test on our autobahn pitches.

Assuming Usman is fit, this is the batting line-up I'd have for Perth.

Larkin jeepers beyond jeepers! He’s utterly terrible and I go for NSW. Lucky to be in the State side let alone a test side. Hughes is the better NSW opener.

Harris maybe. Renshaw would be my first opener picked though. Does need a score in the next Shield game though.

As I said ideally I wouldn't play him either- but we don't have 6 test quality batsmen let alone 7-10. The batting stocks are so thin it isn't even funny now.

We have batting stocks , but they don't get to play shield because of stupid 1 day shit like this weeks who gives a stuff about Seth African series . Those players should be playing shield.

I'm not sure we do have batting stocks. Think a decade ago where we had guy in the Shield averaging 50 or near about not getting games, now we have blokes getting games while they average 35. I'm not sure whether that is a coaching thing, or a talent thing but there doesn't look to be a quick fix.

Did really like the innings from Sam Hazelett the other day. Now that was a test standard innings.

Harris was a great innings, I just like a match saving innings in terms of a test side more (personally), we need more guys who can knuckle down and play a lot of deliveries.

Unfortunately the Marsh duds will play.....and fail.
