I dont watch cricket enough anymore but on the surface I cant see how Finch ever got in the test side, Marsh I have seen more than enough and i wouldnt bother with either
id rather watch a kid learn the ropes if we will stink anyway, Heck at Least M Marsh is young and promising

Both Marsh's are never going to be good enough.
Mitch Marsh has payed 30+ tests and averages 24, that's poor. SMarsh is really as average as they come- in fact if you remember Marcus North he's the exact replica- either gets 80+ or gets 0-10.
Not sure who the answer is. Sangha from NSW looks good, Pucovski from Victoria does too, Edwards from NSW. I like the look of Hazelett from QLD too.

Did well in the 2nd innings of the last test with the bat albeit the bar isn’t too high. Rather play the younger players than gift tests to Marsh, etc

Victoria did the right thing. Mitch 'the mere" Marsh failed with bat and ball in the just completed Shield match.
He has the worst batting average of any number 6 in Test history for batsmen who have played 30+ Tests.

In other news it seems the Wozzies want to take either the Boxing Day Test from the G or the New Year's Test from Sydney.
Given they have under 25000 tickets sold for Day 1, they seem to pushing the proverbial uphill.
CA's fixturing is now worse than the AFL. All that matters to them is the Tower of BBL. It used to be:
T1 Gabba
T2 WACA
T3 the G- Boxing Day
T4 SCG - New Year
T5 AO - Oz/Invasion Day
Before Perth got Tests, Sydney or Melbourne would get two.
This season CA stuffed the schedule because it caved in to BanIndia on two points.
BanIndia was scared to play at the Gabba, insisted on a four Test series and insisted it be dropped.
BanIndia also were scared to play a day night Test in Adelaide and insisted it be a day game.

I think it ridiculous. Bugger all Wozzies turn up for Tests. The SCG and G Tests are the best attended. The only good trying About Perth Tests used to be the pitch. Wozzies don't turn up unless the Pomgolians or Yarpies are playing and then only because the crowd is padded with ex Pat's.

That’s similar to most grounds. I’d rather all tests bar Boxing Day be pink ball tests. Cricket is changing in Australia we want D/N tests

People are time poor. The D/N in Adelaide (which was a disgrace why it wasn’t this year) showed people want it. The crowds took a massive dip. I’m traditional too but I’m realistic, let’s get more people to the ground. The pink ball has been improved so much there’s very little difference now
