all correct. Two Sri Lankans retired out, Attapattu on 201 i think and someone else on 150.

2. well, i didn't do my research too well. yep, Rhodes batted in every single position from 1 to 11. I was thinking of Sunil Gavaskar who batted every position except 3, 10 and 11.

looked it up, debuted at 8. He never batted at 1, 2, 3, 10 or 11.

I was wondering about that one. I have a feeling Rhodes isn't the only player to bat all eleven possies is, but I can't seem to find who the other player is.

yep. the big man started with a pair. he scored 2015 runs in 21 matches, 39 innings at Lords. Bradman at the MCG is in 2nd place, over 300 runs behind.

Didn't Tony Mann make a ton and then didn't play for Australia again? he was a spinner from WA and he made a ton as a nightwatchman but he got a game because another spinner was injured or something, maybe Mallett or Yardley, I think he played back when WSC was on so our Test stocks were down a bit.

He made 105 as a nightwatchman against India in 77/78 (the first season of World Series Cricket). I think it was the second test in Perth. But I am certain he played further tests after that.

Yardley made his Test debut later in the same series.

Dean Jones do it as well? I know he averaged 70 in his last Test series against Sri Lanka and on same series M Waugh made 4 ducks guess who got dropped?. Apparently Border told Jones he was going to get dropped and he went out and made a ton, still got dropped.
