This continual bowling short to Archer is just mind boggling . And not very good either .

If they're so desperate to bounce Archer, should be coming around the wicket. He's looking to step inside it and paddle it around the corner. Much more difficult to do that when the ball is angling in to you rather than down leg.

There's not a lot of brains in so much that we do. Stack the offside for the last ball and Lyon bowls on Stokes legs. The plan for Pattinson seems to be to channel his inner Shaun Tait. This is a dangerous last wicket "partnership".

Lyon is at least turning it, and I think if he pulls his length back a bit would make it a bit harder for Stokes to time it. The quicks are just banging it in and hoping for a mistake.

Our best chance at the moment appears to be a runout.
