Over the years I've played a few crime investigation games.

And now there's going to be CSI Fatal Conspiracy Release date 25/11 to add to the list

Anyone else love these sort of games and know anymore good ones on PC or what ever that's sort of similar to CSI.

Wish they made more investigation type games- I can only come up with CSI in that genera which is a shame. Need more of these type of games:thumbsu:

Phoenix Wright series on DS

They've made a few Law and Order games on PC aswell. If your looking a little broader for adventure games, then Focus's Sherlock Holmes series of adventure games on PC are excellent. Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin and Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper are both challenging, with the latter involving you needing to recreate the crime scene's with Watson, which was a lot of fun. The recreation of 1880's Whitechapel is great as well for those interested in Victorian-era London/Ripper history.

edit: Come to think of it, I believe "Jack the Ripper" was released on the 360 as well.

Yep, reckon the OP would like that series and it's not hard to dig around for an emulator if you don't have a DS. Even though Phoenix Wright is more about being a lawyer, I love both series and find they both get the brain thinking (more so in Phoenix Wright)

Can't wait for this new CSI, but I do hope it's a little more challenging than the last few, which weren't exactly easy, but more that they were too short and repetitive. Really hope they can implement some new things for this one and make the game longer because I finished the last few CSI's in a day or two.

I heard the L&O games on the PC aren't great, has anyone here played them?

The Sherlock Holmes games are great and I can't recommend them enough to the OP. I think there are 2 Sherlock Holmes games available on X-Box (I may be wrong) - Vs Jack the Ripper and The Awakening. Both are EXTREMELY challenging (IMO anyway) and will last you a long while. I love both of those games but sadly I never got around to finishing Vs JtR....Was really enjoying it too but it's one of those games where it's been so long since I played it that I'd probably have to start all over to really get back into it and understand what's going on again.

Other than what's been mentioned in this thread already, there really isn't much else in the crime/investigation category. The next best thing is to try out some adventure/point 'n click games like the new Tales of Monkey Island series of games on PC which I reckon are quite good.

Spycraft: The Great Game.

Has everything you're hoping for and more, you'll be pissed off when it's over. (it doesn't take that long, decent amount of time for an adventure game, but it's that good that you'll want another one) If anyone knows of a similar game please let me know, because I loved it.

Brings back memories. I looooovvved Spycraft. It was the first game I ever played that made you make tough, moralistic choices in the story that really mattered. An underrated classic...

Does anyone remember the awesome game 'Hugo's House of Horrors'? Spent so many hours as a kid trying to clock this game to no avail. Really made you think outside the box. Believe there was a sequel or 2 also.....Good times.
