Cripps has also never been paid to play at another club because he was too busy binging on donuts and ketamine either.

Regardless, how can Clarry have had better seasons than Cripps in all those years listed above despite trailing Crippa in your beloved coaches award for those seasons? It just doesn't add up 🤔
Hey now, you've crossed a line there. I won't have anyone shaming those with a proclivity for donuts and ketamine. I'd never touch the stuff, but I wouldn't judge someone else K-holing in a Krispy Kreme store.

true. its a ceiling that cripps never reached. You're having it both ways though. Oliver won the award twice, a level that Cripps never got to. I mean why are you even talking? didn't you mention the Brownlow? Anyone who even mentions that is an absolute casual. The Sunday Footy Show's Player of the Year award is actually more accurate. And it's not even close.
Cripps may never of won it but he won players mvps, Brownlows and was consistently placed in the coaches votes. Again I went year by year and it was 6 Cripps, 4 Oliver and a tie. Which is about right. You can’t even bother to argue with it because every year you used as an example that Oliver was marginally better, much better or even. Cripps was ahead in coaches votes, Brownlow votes and statistically.

You screaming casual without actually comprehending what’s being said is what is laughable. Yeah I mentioned all awards, which you choose to ignore.

Your ignorance is astounding.

Never seen Oliver turn beastmode the way Cripps did in patches over 2022-2024.

Cripps was the best contested player in the game 2018-2019 but barely got any plaudits due to how bad Carlton were.

Both players have had down patches (Cripps 20-21), Oliver (24-25) but I'll take Cripps's career over Oliver's comfortably.
Cripps was a freak in 18, i remember when he had 30 and 2 in a 70 point loss against Hawthorn and remembering this bloke is fighting a one man war.

Same game Mitchell had 46 disposals 2 goals but I came out of it impressed by Cripps as much as I was by Mitchell who was the best mid in the game at the time.

But Cripps was just as good in 2022-24, different way he played the game compared to 2018 era.

Both have had patches of brilliance, Cripps a bit more which is a given considering he’s older. Both down patches too but Cripps probably a higher ceiling in my opinion, and more years of dominance. Whereas Oliver was consistent, albeit still with down and lean years.

dude, you admitted Oliver was better years ago when you were fed up with Cripps' plodding ways.

Cripps has never won a Coaches award mate. Let alone 2. The coaches, never deemed Cripps to be the best player in the game. The coaches voted Oliver the best, twice.
Your ignorance again. Wowzers.

I will say as much as I rate all awards.
Coaches, umpires and players even media personalities.

They all have their own flaws. You’re hung on coaches votes but I know first hand for example with Hawthorn, at times it wasn’t even the best players getting votes from their own coach. It was just as much about who did their role. Even if you were the games best player, rewarding of a role player who exceeded, happened frequently. There is no perfect award, hence using them all.
