Said it last year

Great user of the footy, breaks the lines, makes so much sense with the packed midfield we have.

No he's not... He's a horrible user of the ball.
The best position for Crisp is in the VFL.

Errr no. His technique is shaky but the skill is there. Looks bad but quite good in practise.

Reminds me of Ben Johnson who was a very underrated kick late in his career.

I want someone that would run the ball out of the back half like Lumumba used to.. like a big powerful horse..

I definitely would love to see a mid or 2 in our backline.. particularly ones with grunt speed courage. Dunno if Crisp is the answer.

Crisp has all three of those attributes.

Nah we need good users in the back half. We have too many options off half back anyway, all of which are ahead of Crisp.
Like who? Howe, yes, but assuming we want to play Varcoe forward and wells and Sidebottom on the wings, who else would be ahead of Crisp?

Crisp plays and can play a suitable role.
From the back or mid.

Remember folks in a way there is no real, half back flank anymore they are kind of extra mids

Rolling waves of players in ways.

Jack can play that sort of role, lovely long kick too.

One very small query is has he reached his level?
And what we gain ongoing is similar level high B quality player?

Crisp is a good clearance player and hard runner. I like him best in a run with role actually because he is fit and tall enough to run with bigger bodied mids.

If he can develop into a run with, it means we can probably drop greenwood for someone with skills like phillips
