I couldn't attend yesterdays game because i was at a conference but how many where surprised at yesterdays crowd. Correct me if i am wrong but we have averaged about 35k-36k this year. It's amazing to see how many people 4-5k seem fed up and didn't show up. It really shows members aren't happy with not just the team but CC.

Yesterday would surely be our lowest crowd for a couple of years?
I havent yet watched the game, hoping to catch it on Fox during the week

We have over 5,000 duel Docker/wce members. I would suspect they are the ones missing from yesterday, off on their mid holiday to Bali.

There were only a couple hundred Bulldogs supporters I thought. They easily had the lowest representation of all opposition clubs in 2005.
I noticed that too.

Does anyone hazard a guess on average how many opposition supporters we get to a home game?

A season or two ago that would've been a great crowd
A season or two ago you wouldn't have had 15,000 people walk out in the third quarter just because you were losing either. Its called changing expectations.

(Oh, and Billy, I was there on my membership, and I'm no Freo supporter...)

 Mr Q, you of all people, I would have expected you to be taking your mid year holiday. I guess it's no longer safe to travel over seas.

I'm flying out on October 2nd. You can't leave during the season after all (oh, and that way I get to see the Derby at The Oval as well).

I'd say about 1,000. Collingwood and Essendon would get closer to 2,000 on a good day. I don't think it makes much difference to the crowd figure. Poor form is pretty much the major determining factor. Although the Bulldogs 200 (tops) supporters made the difference between 31,000 and 32,000.

And since when is 31,000 a bad crowd anyway given this is our 11th straight season no better than ordinary? Port won a flag last year and struggle to get that!
