This was from a headline in todays AGE. It then goes on about how Nths interstate games and the Woods poor form have contributed to the decrease in crowds.
How about putting your head up your jacksey and having a good look at your brain jackson!
No mention of reserved seating poilicys and boutique stadiums for the well healed to barricade themselves from the slavering masses that MAKE THE GAME!
Your a pompous ass and I hate you.
$500 million on a stadium that only holds 52,000 at a push.
Kerry sure is stoking something in you and we can all guess what.
By th way how do you pronounce Dragecvic.

I heard that they mean to 'educate' the public to pre-book. So if you rock up on the day with a membership ticket you will have to queue to 'collect' a ticket then go to the entrance and queue to get in.

I see our round 12 freo game is at colonial. I propose that all hawk fans turn up un the day and demand to be let in at no extra cost. We can all sit up the back, which should hold the 12-13000 we normally get to a freo game. That way we'll make a point and there'll be no 'compensation' payment to carlton. (I thought we compensated carlton already when we left princes park in '91)

Yet another example of how the AFL are moving away from the average supporter towards entertaining the Chardonnay elite!!!

Take for example the promise that big games will be moved from Colonial to the MCG, we now find that this is another hollow promise as it would be too hard to rearrange the corporate suites!!

Stuff the club supporter who can't get in to see the game - as long as the corporates aren't inconvenienced.

If North and Essendon are 1 & 2 when the time comes for them to play at Colonial (and there is a real possibility) I would suggest that there will be a lockout - this will leave the AFL with two choices:

Relocate to the MCG
or
Broadcast the game live in Melbourne

10 to 1 that the game gets broadcast live - by doing this the AFL will satisfy:

a) The corporate elite
b) Channel 7

Unfortunately the supporter comes in a way distant third choice!!

Another Scenario:

If either Hawthorn's home games against Collingwood (Rd1) and Essendon (Rd4) draw in excess of 60,000 (reasonably likely) will the return games later in the year be re-located to the MCG from Colonial
