When they had the fridges you would see mostly full bottles on the ground everywhere. I bet that isn't happening now. Maybe if players weren't so wasteful it wouldn't come to this.

True, but there is probably a better way, hell, just have a few freaking water coolers around to fill up bottles from as opposed to rejecting the pleas of punters for some more.

-----------------------------

Busted again today sadly. Had run it up from the 10k start bank to about triple average for the majority of the day. Had a great table and was for the most part making very few mistakes.

Unfortunate killer hand occurs at the start of 400/800/100. Main villain is new to table, other guy has been nothing special either good or bad.

Chip stack average is about 25k at this point.

Ash: 74k
Main Villain: 73k
Other guy: 23k

Main Villian opens to 1900, other guy calls LP. I call from the blinds with J:spades: 8:spades:

FLOP: 6500: J:hearts: 8:hearts: 5:spades:

I donk-lead for 3600. Main villain calls. Other guy shoves for about 21k total.

I thought for a bit and shoved over the top for 72k or so. Main villain tanks for three minutes, and eventually calls with bottom set . Bit annoying, winning that pot and breaking even for the rest of the day would have given me a top 5 stack probably

Ironically, i was targetting the overpairs part of his range and the board ran out running fours so I lost to QQ-AA anyway.

Anyway, will be in for shootout tomorrow.

I just busted shootout

Fabian Quoss made me his bitch all day :( got me to pile AQ into his aces early (I sucked out though) and then later I 3b JJ from blinds he calls leaving an spr of about 2. We flop 853dd and he has the toppest of sets. :(

Trying to find more spots to lead and this seemed like a good one since there are tons of tough to play turn cards if it checks around and I think this guy will still raise and stack off with over pairs, at least I thought he would.

Lame

Busted all the sats today as well, after putting myself in good positions to qualify from both the phase 2 and the phase 3.

Phase 3 in particular grinded it out, and then after finally getting myself into a non push/fold stack had 64s get there against JJ and then opened AQ, BB peels with 17bb eff. Flop QT4cc he check shoves, I call and lose to A5cc in a hand I think if I win a win a seat more often then not.

Oh well.

Looking to sell 2% of myself in AM Main playing regardless...

110$ p/share either bank transfer/cash preferred.

Playing Day 1A will also post on 2+2 but for such a small amount would rather keep it local.

A few points I wish Crown (or any casino) would do with their tournament series

Have the PLO 6max - basically every PLO player prefers 6max version of the game, it's really the only way to play it without antes

Remove Razz from HORSE - so the game becomes HOSE, but that just looks weird so call it mix game tournament. People don't really like razz but it's not a big deal I just think it would be a good step forward. Perhaps add 2-7 but I'm not fussed as much

Ensure all NLHE games in 8game has antes - the game is pretty dead in 8game, antes is a must

More 2:30-6:10pm starts - the 12:30 is stupid, and having the accum start at 2:30 tomorrow is awful, just start at 6:10 like it always has

Agree with the PLO, but I could also understand 8 handed.

Correct answer rather than HOSE is to call it SHOE. Hell, just borrow the Sydney dealing shoes and profit.

Antes for mixed have to be really big to be worthwhile, btw, props to the structure team for most events playing 150/300/50 as opposed to 150/300/25

Agree on night flights, its only eight hours and the day doesn't really change that much anyway.

------------------------------------------

Its been a meh week so far, I did cash the 6 game but other then that come up with air this week. Had a ridiculously stacked 6 max table from about 40 off the money (paying 48) through to my demise. Excluding myself (I dont try and rate where I fit on the poker landscape vs other) I think my table had four players in the top 10 in the field, and then when one busted, was replaced by Mustapha Kanit who is a superstar as well. Was pretty lame but managed to make the money at least which was cool.

Going to win a $1k sat from Melbourne one day.

Not to be

We were first table to break and I ended up on Timoshenkos and another american pros right which wasn't going to be fun.

I ended up picking up kings in the CO, raising to 5200. Timoshenko folds, pro 3bs to 15000, I make it 29000 playing 115000 to induce spazz, he puts his 47bb eff in with AQo and I lose missing the money by 10 places.

Gross

Do you think he could've found a fold with his AQo there?

Cates Throws Chips Across Table at Rossiter After Busting

For the second time today, Daniel Cates ran pocket kings into pocket aces. This time, he was much more live than last time when he was all in against Steve O'Dwyer's quad aces on the flop, but that didn't stop Cates from expressing his frustration in a ridiculous manner.
After the money went in and Rossiter tabled the A:spades:A:hearts:, Cates yelled out, "Are you f***ing kidding me?!?!" before throwing his cards across the table in the direction of Rossiter.
Cates' hand was the K:spades:K:hearts:, and someone at the table pointed out to Cates that he could still win the hand with five community cards to come.
The flop, turn, and river ran out T:diamonds:T:clubs:3:diamonds:3:hearts:5:clubs: to give Rossiter the win, but then Cates exploded by grabbing a handful of chips and throwing them like a baseball player across the table at Rossiter. Some of the chips bounced on the table in front of Rossiter, one or two hit him in the chest, and a couple more stumbled onto the floor. After doing so, Cates just sat there, visibly steamed with what had occurred.
The tournament staff was quickly called, and the discussion began with what was to happen now that it wasn't fully clear that Rossiter had Cates covered. Eventually, it was ruled that Cates had less chips than Rossiter and he was eliminated.
Angrily, Cates stormed to the rail and it's left to be seen if he'll fire a fourth bullet into the event.
