I thought the one night was if you qualified in the first 3 months of your membership period, you get one to use in the remaining 3 months, then 2 in the next?

As I've qualified right at the end, doesn't that mean I can't use them during this period (which expires in 4 days) but get 2 nights to use in the next 6 months?
Yep that's it...spot on.

I don't think that the base of what is included in crown rewards will change.
I was only worried about how the procedure of cashing in the points will work.
There may not be any such change. Have only seen the initial notification on the crown app.

Phew! I was planning for that.

With footy season ending, I'm pretty sure I'll drop back to Gold or even Silver in the next period, then maybe get Platinum back again in season next year. Might start planning an annual Aussie Open trip around it if it sticks around!

Is that the Crown app or the Crownbet app mate?

Interesting to note that Crownbet's promo this week is basically a free hit for $50..

They are offering points worth $50 if your head to head bet loses..

Free money there thanks to your great tip above...

also interesting to note they have not confirmed existing structure ie. 5, 25 and 125 will be maintained.

expect they will tighten this up a lot at the lower level

email just circulated.

no more as of right free parking for silver members.

full changes available oct 15
Here's some of the changes from the email..

Notification of Changes to Crown Loyalty
Program effective from 15 November 2016
Date of issue of notification: 26 September 2016
Purpose of Notification
From 15 November 2016, Crown’s loyalty program,
known as Crown Signature Club, will become Crown
Rewards.
Most of the format, structure and benefits of being a
Crown Signature Club member will continue to apply
to Crown Rewards.
We’ve made our loyalty program simpler with one
unified membership across Crown Melbourne, Crown
Perth and CrownBet, and there are some changes
that will affect member benefits.
Here are some of the main changes to the program
for members:
Earning Membership Credits

To simplify the program, Tier Points have now
been removed and Membership Credits will now
be known as Status Credits.

Points that contribute to Status Credits can now
be accumulated over the course of your six-month
Membership Cycle (as opposed to a single week)

New Status Credit Earn Rates:
Crown Hotels, Restaurants,
Bars, Retail Outlets and
Events & Conferencing
1,500 Points = 1 Status Credit
Casino and CrownBet
500 Points = 1 Status Credit
Hotels, Spas and Parking Benefits

Silver, Gold and Platinum Crown Rewards
members will now receive 10%, 15% and 20%
discount at Crown hotels and spas, respectively.

The 5% hotel discount is no longer available to the
Crown Rewards Member tier (previously known as
the Bronze tier).

Silver Crown Rewards members will now need to
earn one Point to receive free next visit general
parking, and free off-peak basement parking
(subject to availability).
Plus, members of Crown Rewards can now earn
and redeem at additional outlets including the online
Crown Rewards member store.
The amended Rules will be available on 15 October
2016 at crownmelbourne.com.au. A member’s
continued participation in the program constitutes
acceptance of the Rules..

All up looks to be no major bad changes..

The good part is that they have scrapped the weekly timeslot where you can earn What were tier points before...that did seem a bit of a strange rule before..Like this a lot better...

And you can confirm its crown bet rewards points that can be used, and not some sort of separate signature club points?
Well now the new changes above have been announced you won't have to worry about joining Signature club after all...

Just got a lot simpler...:)

The flip side is it's now $500 per status credit, rather than $450. So probably evens out. Also reduced discount at Crown.

Removes the silver parking loophole I think was the main point of it - which doesn't affect me but I know a lot of Melbournians were taking advantage of that.

yeah the silver parking one is a huge change for a lot of people given how convenient it was.

will probably entice me to move up to gold so I can drive to work whenever i want.

Haven't driven to Crown in a while but it was always a good feeling knowing I didn't have to worry about parking if I was in the area, not the case any more which sucks

as i understand it you keep your current tier until the new system rolls out in nov.

then if you are silver you will only need to rollover $1 on crownbet each day to receive free parking in the multilevel.

How does the redeeming points for chips work? I have like $100 worth of points. I went to the VIK machine and it said i can redeem them for table play. Does it give you a receipt which you can take to like a roulette table and redeem for chips? Do you have to play them to cash then out?

Yes the vik prints out a receipt. You then take this to a gaming table. You give the receipt and your signature club card to the croupier who will give you chips.

You then can either play the chips or cash them out.

Is there a maximum you can redeem for chips?

As in would redeeming 500K points for $5K in chips be sweet?

i signed up for crownbet for the free afl streaming, and they sent me a signature club card. everywhere in this forum people are talking about how you have to turnover xyz amount of money to get such and such. crown site dosent have any info on this either.
can someone explain in plain english how much does crown signature club cost?

Signature Club is free.

How quickly you move through the tiers of membership depends on how many Membership Credits you collect.

To earn 1 Membership Credit, you must obtain 450 Tier Points. 1 CrownBet point ($1 on fixed odds racing = 1 point I believe) = 1 tier point. You can collect points from Gaming and Shopping at Crown too, but a lot less.

If you turn over a few Grand a week, you should move through the tiers towards Platinum quite quickly.

So does that mean I'm bronze right now without doing anything? I have never placed a single bet with crownbet, nor given them any info about how to get my money.

yes you are bronze, it's free, anyone can join and as bronze you just get like 5% off hotels or something like that, as you move up the tiers you get more benefits like free parking at crown

So to get free parking you have to bet, not win or lose, $450 in 5 different weeks, then I don't have todo anything for 6 months until my level drops down to bronze again? (I finally found the terms and conditions page)
