Had gold membership for approx 2 years - more based on heavy punting in certain periods of the year, as opposed to consistent weekly turnover.

Due to losing a few of those big periods, going to struggle to retain Gold for next period! Any tips? Any tables people find best for accumulating points?

Cheers

I'd redeem the points for table play and cash them out. 100,000 points = $1000. Then pay for the hotel, spa, etc., with that cash and earn 5 points per $1 for it! And keep whatever is left over.
This is the way to go...Benaud is spot on here Sausage Legs and Towers is definitely the best of the 3 and the spa package is great, very good massage staff...enjoy

If it's purely the points you want to acquire the safest thing I can suggest is taking very short 2 leg multis on tennis etc at short prices like $1.01 -1.03 doesn't take too long to accrue points but they don't always win..That's why they call it gambling, if it was that easy it would be called winning..

If you want to get points in the cas but dont want to gamble. Find busy tables to throw your card over. Roulette is good for acquiring points quickly, and you usually stay logged in to the system for quite a while.
Otherwise if you have some time, sit at baccarat. even without betting you will turn over alot of points. and with min bets of $100 a hand it does help.
The only issue is, in the teak room i have spoken to the pit bosses, and they do say they watch you on the cameras. so if you do walk away from the table after your cards down you will likely be logged out faster.

So best value is the $10 or $25 roulette tables on the main floor for quick points :)

good luck.

It's very hit and miss. I didn't get a single point for gambling on my last trip, despite playing for maybe 2 hours.

Baccarat 100$-$300 table. hold chips and pretend u're playing.

or buy clothes, eat or book hotels.

I got up to my teir through betting with crownbet from silver to gold, it still says pending upgrade to gold and it says it will take up to 5 business days. still waiting for 3 weeks , went into crown they said ring crownbet then crownbet say ring crown.

Can anyone advise how long it takes for them to process.

it shouldn't take that long.

follow up with crownbet and ask them to upgrade you on the system. from memory they do upgrades once or twice a week.

then go to the teak desk and collect the card

"Crown’s 62% stake in fast-growing – but currently barely profitable – CrownBet is also on the block. The company is negotiating to sell this stake to CrownBet management including founder Matthew Tripp for $150m, although the deal is not yet certain to go ahead. "

Time to cash in crownbet rewards if you like the crown rewards?

Ha

Has lost its value since they stopped offering Crown points as bonuses and offer bonus bets instead (still get points on turnover however)

Damn... did enjoy the mahogany room but other than a couple of hundred through the craps table hate casino gambling so have no reason to be going to crown again anytime soon

yeah.

i think we should get one more cycle through (hopefully more).

crownbet is easily my fav corp so it'll be sad to see it go.

Maybe its a foregone conclusion that it will go, but I did read online that Mathew Tripp (the guy who has bought crownbet) is likely going to try negotiate keeping at least some aspect of the Crown Rewards program.

i think it'll be tough to keep the physical rewards ie the parking, the conversion of points into cash via casino chips, and mahogany.

Yeah, i dunno how it could work. But there is incentive for both parties. I think a lot of people would be like me, they would stop betting through crownbet (or whatever it becomes) and they would go to Crown a lot less if the Rewards program was removed for punters.
