Been to all Crows games bar two or three since it was built so I know what it's like. I've had smoke blown in my face on many occasions but it just doesn't bother me. God help you if you ever travel to Europe or Asia - every second person there smokes. And INSIDE as well! But as I see it, no one has the right to tell people whereabouts outside they are allowed to smoke. Ridiculous.
No different to people smoking at the entrance to buildings. It's disgusting, have some respect for other people who don't want to have breathe your shit. (Not you as you said you don't smoke)

I respect your opinion, but I completely disagree. No one should have to tolerate having cigarette smoke blown in their face. It's disgusting. Kids and babies especially shouldn't have to be exposed to it in such a crowded area. If people want to smoke - fine - just do it away from massive crowds.

They have the right to tell you not to smoke outside in eating areas in lots of places. In Scotland, you weren't allowed to smoke in any partially contained public area - even bus shelters etc. It was great!
It's great that you are not bothered, but in reality a lot of people are. And it is a health issue so I would have no problems in banning it outdoors in areas where people are contained and don't have the choice to freely move away. Like the bridges after the game.

I think it is ridiculously inconsiderate to smoke in a crowd of people, no matter where they are.

Couldn't disagree more strongly. Why should someone else's poor life choices impact me? In a situation like that I have no choice but to breathe in their carcinogenic gasses and it pisses me off. The more bans on smoking they put on the better.

Yeah and see I've always disagreed with the regulations. If the govt is that serious about the issue then ban it all together. That wouldn't bother me in the slightest. But whilst it's legal I don't agree with banning it in public.

Do you have an issue with the air pollution from cars?

Sorry for the odd question, but I was wondering if any of you guys as Adelaide fans have had an issue with the quality of the BLK jumpers in terms of the colour navy blue either being too pale/fading etc, either on your own or the ones the players wear?

It's not comparable. Car pollution isn't directly blown into my face, and I have the chance to get away from it if needed.

My problem with smokers on the footbridge is not specifically the smoker, it's the issue of not being able to escape from it. Like I said before, I don't have an issue with smokers, I have an issue with where they smoke.

I smoke. I wouldn't smoke crossing the footbridge after the game. It's unnecessary and inconvenient. I like to swing my arms around a bit and blow smoke rings.

Don't think so. Not noticeably anyway.

Fair enough, a lot of complaints from Richmond people about the black on the the jumper (same manufacturer as Adelaide), so was just curious. Cheers.

People here aren't huge fans of the BLK yellow colour I think. But I've not noticed an enormous difference, and it's probably better than recent previous jumpers.

Yes, colours are poor. Compare the jumper to the socks- the socks are the proper colours, the jumper is a few shades lighter. BLK suck.

A few of us met with the club earlier in the year and the navy was raised with the club about it not being correct. It was noted down by the club to raise with BLK, and I strongly suspect they would be. Last year at the same meeting it was raised about our hoops, and the club listened and fixed it for this year with BLK.

Yeah, with Richmond the jumper basically looks acceptable but when you but it next to something that is actually black it looks grey. What I've seen of Adelaide is less noticeable to me but the blue still looks a bit washed out. Who cares though I guess when you're playing so well.

Oh trust me, there are people on this board who care very, very much. ;) (Others, not me - they know who they are)

Haha.. you never get away from car pollution ya nong, thats the problem. There is plenty of evidence (go search for it) that pollution is worse than passive smoking.

I got an email from the AFC asking me to confirm my details - name, address, email etc. I noticed that they had the first year of membership and consecutive since years as well.

This is the first time I have noticed they have recorded these years (mine are both 1992).

Quite pleased they got mine right too, especially since I wasn't 'named' on our family ticket for the first lot of years. 1992 for me too. My Dad joined in 1991.
