Jason Torney is gone because of his age not talent. Darren Pfeiffer is gone because of attitude not talent.
Jason Torney will not be redrafted simply because we are now entering a rebuilding phase of our football club.

I think the club had had enough of Pfeiffer's off field issues.
I know that Vince got torn a new one by his mother when she found out about the breaking of the curfew.
Torney - very sad to see him go but I can understand it. We have promoted Gallman. Massie is similiar and younger in respect to Torney, so there is our depth for that role and we also just picked up symes. Maybe it was also the coaches way to ensure that some younger blood is included in the leadership group as Torney had one of those spots. Go Panthers next year.
Perrie - the writing had been on the wall with McGregor staying. All the best Pez and I admire that you got the most out of your own ability.
Hinge - this had been predicted by most on here
McIntyre - started off well, I was impressed with what I had seen so far and then he injured his ankle and became a fumbling shadow of what he had shown at the start of the year.
Turner - we really heard nothing about him all year
Bode - well young Matt will be devastated and will have to create a new banner. I would suggest that the knee is still not fully right and the club decided on the harsh call.

I'm sure everyone else is saying this as well but how have Doughty & Jericho remained on the list ahead of Pfieffer? This is a joke, he looked really impressive in the games I saw this year (admittedly it wasn't many), but he's clearly got a heap of talent, if they're worried about his off-field stuff give him a strict one year deal with curfews and whatever like the pies did with Didak to see how badly he wants to stay at the Crows.
Two years on and yet again we've wasted another first round pick, kudos coaching and development staff at AFC, what a future we could have if this is how you deal with all our first round picks.

Ok – why would they delist them?
Why not just delist the mandatory 4 (Bode, Hinge, Perrie) and not upgrade Gallman?
Why would they put the 2 player through this sort of ordeal if they were going to redraft them? The club is trying to rebuild the squad and both would have been delisted for different reason.
Torney doesn’t fir the age criteria and Pfeiffer doesn’t fit the attitude demands.
Both are gone and both have no chance at getting redrafted by the AFC next year.
I'm dissapointed with the Torney decision. Was one of our best players this year and I reckon has another year in him. I hope we redraft him or he gets drafted by another club. Should have got rid of Doughty

I dont know. Maybe they will assess the names left in the draft then make a choice
ie they may have ideas on players they want and if they go before pick xxx then Torney or Pfeiffer get back on... many reasons why

I've been suspicious about Pfeiffer for a long time. It seemed odd to me that a first round draft pick had not been offered a new contract when all his counterparts such as Vince, Douglas had. I expect him to be on an AFL list next year. I do however doubt he'll become the superstar predicted on here.

very sad that Torns got delisted i thought he had his best ever year him and Bodey were very unlucky.
but see i told you Pfeiffer would go usually after two years of not playing a game the club tries to make room on the list just like the did with Hinge as well.
