You said he would go because he can't play, that's not why he's being delisted you....very sad that Torns got delistedi thought he had his best ever year him and Bodey were very unlucky.

Add Pfieffer to that wasted Talent Board. Lots of talent but has pissed it away, literally. Players wanting to get a full time AFL slot dont act the way I have seen him act..This may shake him up and some other club may benefit or he will slip into obscurity...

Overall a real gutsy move today by the AFC who are to be congratulated for NOT taking the "safe" option.
Torney:
Sad that he has obviously been asked to retire and refused ...hence his delisting.
With so many players over 30 we just had to start culling b4 they all went together ....plus they have held back young players.
Bode:
28 year old that has missed some 50 games of footy since coming to Adelaide.
If we didn't cull some 28-30 year old players then we would miss the opportunity for young players to play with and learn from the likes of Edwards, Goodwin, Macca and Bassett.
Plus if we get young players in now the likes of Knights, Van Berlo, Griffin and Vince will still be young enough to enjoy a longer road back up the top.
Perrie:
Becoming more injury prone in recent seasons plus poor attitude.

McIntyre & Turner:
You only get one chance ....both players went backwards as the season progressed ....both have some talent, in fact lots of talent ...but you have to take the bull when it's your turn.
Gallman:
Kid has talent, determination and speed ....and unlike the two above he actually got better as the year went on

Very pissed with Pfeif going. I love Torney and am not happy to see him delisted but I can see why it happened. Pfeif however looked really good whenever I saw him play and has the tools to be a VERY good AFL player.

Well Gibson, Meesen, and Pfieffer have shown what a great development grounding Norwood provides.
BTW who was the last Norwood player to do anything with the Crows??? .....would that be Pittman 10 years ago

I have to be honest Drummond, aside from one game where he did a few good things, I haven't really rated him. Zero awareness, struggles a bit with decision making, we may rookie him or something but he has never set the world on fire and hence never made his debut.

Bode got the boot and rightfully so. His body is shot to pieces.
Doughty is contracted - I'm sure he'll be spending plenty of time at Noarlunga.
Jericho - Well someone obviously has some weird fascination with this squib. Should've been delisted long ago.
Torney - Dead stiff. I can understand why they've done it, but I can't seem him being too happy getting the boot, when blokes like Jericho get to stay on the list.

Pfeiffer - I really like this bloke as a player. I hope like hell we rookie list him. Do we have priority on him in the rookie draft if it goes that way? I can't believe we'd delist someone like him, given the stage we're in at present.
Perrie - Thank God, it's finally over. He was a 'trier' and got the most out of his talents, and that is more than most can say, but I don't think anyone will be devestated to lose him.
Hinge - Once again the right call. SANFL standard, that's all he'll ever be. Hopefully he stays here and keeps playing for the Bays
Gallman - Excellent! I'm very happy with his upgrading. Mobile utility type, didn't he play a game in the Reserves and rack up 30 odd touches for North? Followed up by doing key defensive roles in the league team. Well done young man
The Other Rookies -
Turner, the guy just isn't big enough, that's about all there was to it.
McIntyre - That broken leg was the killer. I had really high hopes for him and he was in line for a senior debut against the Swans in round 4, but broke his leg and it seemed to be all downhill from there. Watching him late this year was embarrassing.
Archard - Why did we even pick him up? Decent footballer, but obviously his heart wasn't in it. Wasted spot.

I feel sorry for Jason, the rest have their reasons for being delisted (injury, attitude or not taking their chances when presented)
Remember it is a big step from SANFL to AFL.
I have been very impressed with how we have tackled trade week & look forward to the PSD & 2008
