In the media....hence Sloane coming out today to give it context so pretty obviously the club is aware of the way Crouch was portrayed to the AFL public in that footage that was shown across multiple media outlets.

Are you really telling me if you were in Crouch's shoes you wouldn't feel aggrieved the way he was portrayed in the edited version doing the rounds.

Someone who can think objectively and doesn't just pump out empty statements would be a much better fit. Every time I hear or see Daniel Talia in the media I get the distinct impression that he and the club were robbed of him spending time as captain.

In the Nic Nat vs O'Brien segment I actually quite liked Sloane's voice out on the field. From that scene I got a glimpse of why the players respect and look up to him, and consequently vote him as captain

I'm in the "want to see real progress in our on field output" brigade...before I'm back on the Crows train. All I've seen this far in this pre-season is talk, lot's of talk not matched by on field performance.

I can get this. I think he didnt want or need that though. His strength in character played through a title..
Like his grandfather played for the bulldogs and they got salty at him? Ha
It is probably why he will most certainly be at the club after his playing days.

In the Nic Nat vs O'Brien segment I actually quite liked Sloane's voice out on the field. From that scene I got a glimpse of why the players respect and look up to him, and consequently vote him as captain

I enjoyed watching him get stuck into Houston for kneeing one of our players in the leg during the Showdown, he definitely has a strong leadership presence on field

The Stengle stuff came post season though, so pretty sure filming had stopped. I also can’t imagine they were allowed into the Barossa hub, but am surprised they didn’t cover discussions back the club.

I heard the producer talk about how they focus in on a particular story arc for each of the clubs and one that will ensure they cover enough areas of the club, and in our scenario is was Sloane’s journey because he’s the captain I assume.

Yeah I've seen so much to get enthused about on field in the 2021 pre-season....the time for cheap talk from our coach is past, he's sounding like a broken record.
