33 Is not fair when you look at the trade history for ruckmen and Jacobs can play make no mistake about it.

Odds are that half those teams won't have a pick in the PSD anyway. Last year there were only 7 clubs involved, only 6 in 2008 and 7 in 2007.

• West Coast won't grab him - they already have Cox & NicNat, with little or no desire to pay big $$$ to a 3rd ruckman who would spend most of the year in the WAFL.
• Richmond will probably be grabbing Grigg in the PSD.
• Essendon have Hille, Ryder, Bellchambers & Bock. The first 2 are well established and the latter pair are developing nicely. No need to pay big $$$ for Jacobs.
• Brisbane have an abundance of young ruckmen already.

I'd say there's a damn good chance of him making it through to our pick in the PSD. However - I don't think this will go to the PSD. Carlton will have no choice but to cave on Monday afternoon.

History shows there's about a 15% chance a pick over 30 will play more than 10 games...

History shows a 22 year old ruckman that ranks very high in the league at ruckwork and has dominated games + final will play a shitloads more than 10 games...

If there was a 18 year old that has showed what Jacobs has... he'd be pick up in the top 20... so one who is ready to go Now is worth some 12 picks less than Giffin is ridiculous
