I don't consider a disagreement to be a falling out; falling out to me suggests the relationship is untenable.

You're probably right about Kreuz/Murph, but, as I said, the Crows hold these two as being of incredible importance to the Crows for a long time.

Sin, in my books that's a TKO :thumbsu:

this may suprise you sin , but the gear isnt free in adelaide !!
i actually know phil davis's dads collegue & the adelaide players are made to make their own way to the airport sometimes & pay a component of their training gear !!

I don't think that's true. My teammate at Glenroy was on Adelaide's list for 2 or so years before this and he gave away numerous training singlets etc, on field footy jumpers, team socks and the like. I doubt he'd hand over all that stuff if he had to pay for it.

We need McKernan to pull a Lachie Henderson and tell the club he wants to head back to Victoria.
Henderson/McKernan double team up forward, send Waite to CHB while we develop someone like Matthew Watson or Kyle Hartigan.

his dad & the collegue both work for BAE & very mature gentleman cant see why he would say something that wasnt true !

at the end of the day everyone is probably wasting their time because carlton probably wont be getting anything from adelaide if walker goes to the crows anyway as this will involve a 3 or 4 way trade involving griffin going to perth and tarrant going to victoria etc. throw in draft picks to even things up and bobs your uncle

Give this man a prize!

In other news, I'm looking forward to future updates on what track pants players are wearing this off-season.

i know nothing at all about McKernan but is he anything like his scabby faced brother who was the most inconsistant and frustrating footballer ever to play the game? The final against Sydney seems to have bolstered the value of Walker, which is a good thing for us, and i tend to agree with a earlier poster that Walker could end up being part of a 3 or 4 way deal involving Griffin, Tarrant etc.

People keep saying this draft is more compromised than last year because of the 17 year olds going to GC.From memory these 17 year olds were actually due to be drafted last year until they made the new draft age 18.
Last years draft only had 9 months to select from. GC then selected there 17 year olds from the remaining 3 months.
This tears draft has 12 months worth of kids apart from Northern Territory picks.

Am I the only one that would be more than satisfied with a Knights for Walker straight swap? As much as I dont want to lose Walker the trade must be done

not gonna happen. Would be a massive steal for the Blues.

If they want both and Knights doesn't ultimately re-sign (although it's looking likely that he will) would you trade;

To Adelaide: Jacobs + Walker + #18
To Carlton: Knights + Taylor Walker + second or third round pick

That'd be the type of trade that I would do.

Probably so... What I'm saying is that unless they're willing to pay over the odds then we shouldn't trade Jacobs to them. While giving up Walker is over the odds that proposal is as equitable as they'd get for it all up.

I don't think he'd be that difficult to convince to keep him around the place. His teammates love him and from all that I've ever heard the feeling is mutual. That is so important.

it was reported this morning that walker is super keen to get to the crows
i say let him go as long as we get what we need in return

Hopefully we're in Knights ear and re-thinks if Walkers going there.

Jacobs is uncontracted so might have to be more flexible in what we take. That might end up a 3-way with Tarrant. Not sure I'd fully want that but might be whats happens. My opinion only of course.

AKAIK Sam has said he'd be happy to return to Adelaide for more opportunities..... the city, not the club. If the Crows didn't come to the table with suitable compensation then start discussions with Port. Other posters claim victorian clubs are interested too. Because he is out of contract, doesn't mean we don't get a just return.

still can't believe this talk of trading Jacobs.

If the match committee got it right against port and picked Jacobs instead of hampson we would have won the game, played port again down here for the 1st final and would have won that game as well. With Kruz injured and looking to play forward in the future anyway then we defiantly have room for Jacobs in out best 22. Both Kruz and Warnok have shown they can play forward.

Trading walker without giving him a year playing centre/forward is also stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!

From the sounds of it, the trade has more to do with Walks wanting out than anything else

Clearly hasn't enjoyed playing down back when compared to midfield / up forward. Adelaide may have offered him a role he wants?

However, with the loss of Crows talent, and no doubt wanting to keep the remaining talent they have, and with a compromised draft, would be surprised if a deal gets done

What do they have that we need? And of that are they willing to give up players like Taylor Walker?
