I think the point is that if this was not the year of draft concessions, Adelaide would have pick 6 and 22 (assuming no priorities). I think 22 is about what Jacobs is worth. Would be an easy trade. As it is, he is not worth 14 and 33 is too little. Adelaide might need to trade into a mid 20's pick but the problem is, most of those are first round picks and clubs are not going to want to trade them for anything but a solid first 22 player.
Exactly he isnt worth pick 14. And considering we dont have a pick in the 20s its a matter of Carlton accepting 33 or lose him for nothing.
