We won two Flags in our frist seven so I wouldn't worry about comparing the two clubs.

Hawks entry 1925 - first flag 1961 in their 37th year - (incidently their first GF)
First Final series in 1957 in their 33rd year (BTW this is the league record for absence from the major round)
Before that 10 wooden spoons

As for Hawthorn,I am more than happy with the Grand finals they have been in during the last 25 years

And as for Adelaide, I am more than happy with the Grand Finals we have been in during the past 8 years.

Yeah, Adelaide is the first non-finals team EVER to say "we're treating round 22 as our Grand Final".
