Looking at Wiggs stats that's almost the complete game for the second time in 3 games

30 possessions 9 clearances 5 tackles and 2 goals ( numerous I50s and metres gained no doubt )

If that can't get you on the emergency list then they are just being arseholes and typically stubborn

Edit 6 I50s/4 rebound 50s wow

So you no longer think we are a 90% chance and now it's 33%, I thought it was just our intent going to stop us winning the flag
We are a big chance and it will be attitude like we saw Thursday with the bulldogs and swans

We had it against gws to beat them by 10 goals but didn't when we lost to Geelong by 4

Nothing to do with Geelong using tactics to beat us whilst we went about our own game?

You know I would have tagged danger I've said it plenty of times but how different would we have been if Sloane and tex didn't play a Barry Crocker

So their tactics to stop us helped them win and ours against them were non existent.

Why did Pyke not employ tactics that have worked in the past like tagging Selwood?

He has a serious, serious problem kicking for goal though.

Like a serious problem....

Everytime he's streaming into the 50 he sprays a helicopter off the right, that won't even make the distance and trickles over the line either for a boundary throw in or a behind.

In his draft footage he did about 4 times. He's done it multiple times at SANFL level including today and he did it vs Brisbane. And it's always the same thing, a helicopter off the right.

He looks very promising and his kicking is very, very good all other times. Has a nice long kick but can also execute those short darts.

But yeah that kicking for goal on the run issue is starting to worry me. I know it's his first year, but he does the EXACT same thing so often it's a bit of a concern for me.
Who are you talking about?

Slick handball to set up the final goal but Sigs kicking needs a substantial amount of work. Poise with the finish by Poholke.

Really really liked Jarmans game too, he has a very very sharp footy mind and is exceeding what I felt he was capable of to this point.

Expect Jars will spend another season in the SANFL and 2019 will be his year!! Another preseason he would have caught up with his frame being so light.
Pretty much what his Dad said prior to him getting drafted. Was still a few years away from getting there physically.

Think he could get a go at AFL or will he be destined to be a great SANFL player?
He definitely has the skills to be AFL quality. And to answer to Squiba as well, he reminds me quite a bit like Caleb Daniels. They both have a really nice spring and timing for taking marks against much taller opposition.

Overall I was pretty happy with his game, but one thing I did notice and wasn't happy about is that he likes sometimes to not be accountable defensively when manning up when Norwood had the ball heading towards their forward line. He did that a number of times, and to make it at AFL level there needs to be defensive two way running from a midfielder. He got better in the second half, but in the first half it was quite noticeable that he preferred to man a space.

And people keep calling Wigg delist material. Crazy
If we don't give him a game soon, another club will
Great win by the boys, what a game
I'm not sure that many, even Vader ,has suggested he's delist material. But looking at selection and emergencies, for some reason he's further back this year than he was last. It could just be that Thor has gone ahead of him inside and Gooch inside/outside. I would love to think he's gone ahead of Mackay for an inside/outside spot, but we know this is unlikely.

But looking at this week's teams, there seems to be a few things that would need to go his way to get a game at the moment. Outside of Mackay, there hasn't been a performance based surprising selection ahead of him.

Sounds correctable if he has a good action in all other scenarios, and he is doing the exact same thing each time, it may just be a minor adjustment of his step and ball drop.

Also, Jar's tackling... Who does it most resemble? Is it the Betts wrap? The Rat finger tipper? Or the Cameron barrel?
Very much like a Betts Wrap. Loves to slap downwards as well to try and pin an arm which is good to see.
