Indeed. On North's forum we give best players and tally it up during the season and usually our votes are completely different to that of the Tiser/Mail.

How could he have been named second best for norwood ..... He wasn't bad, but he didn't stand out for me.

Because he was great, I don’t know how you didn’t notice him. He found a heap of the ball, used it very well, had many forward 50 entries (probably 5+) and he was very elusive.

I noticed him, counted his possessions He made some errors, gave away a couple of free kicks. He had a solid game but he wasn't a stand out for me.

I went and saw the West Adelaide/Devils game at North Hobart yesterday, out of the Crows players Jason Porplyzia was the stand out.

Luke Jericho stood in front of us in the goals and called for a report we asked why and he goes "Ummmmm....elbow to the head?" I know it doesn't seem to be funny but the look on his face and the way he said it made it comical.

Of course it was a rabbit punch to the head, which probably should have been a report, but ssssh. Devils won by 7, it was a close game all day Westies got out by 20 the Devils lead by 25 going into the final quarter, and held on.

Dean Galea took a good pack mark in the goalsquare in the last, Cupido took a running one handed and booted home a goal from about 20 out on a slight angle.

Pfeiffer was great for Norwood. The Sunday Mail (which incidentally was the clubs best players) played really well. He is a classy player, no doubt about that in my mind.

McIntyre was good, he has been our best in the two trials so far.

Now McIntyre will not play in todays trial against the reigning premiers because he had to get a mole removed from his back and the Crows didn't allow the surgery earlier in the week, instead it was done Thursday and there isn't enough time to recover.

I saw Woodville West Torrens and North Adelaide today at Woodville Oval. For the Crows, Bernie Vince was the only player playing. He looked sharper than last weekend and had more infuenece on the game. He barely played any of the first quarter, came on for the last few minutes. In the second quarter he had 7 possesions and was mainly playing in the centre against Ben Hart. He managed a goal, a nice snap from about 40 out. His third quarter wasn't too bad. He had 6 posessions and added another goal, this time from a set shot, to his tally. His last quarter was again, pretty good. He found the ball 7 times again. I mainly noticed he generally is good at decision making. He doesn't just dih of the ball to whoever, he takes a moment and thinks about it. His skills are also very sound.

His stats: 8 kicks, 12 handballs, 7 marks, 4 tackes, 1 hit out, 2 goals

Final Score:
Woodville West Torrens: 6.4, 10.5, 15.8, 17.10 112
North Adelaide: 3.1, 7.4, 9.5, 13.7 85
