I realise we have to go best avaliable, but I would still think we need a really top notch mid more urgently than a KPP (given the nature of our list atm)

I realise good KPP are hard to find but its not like we have a plethora of elite mids running around our club either.

Best available. Of course. And it is more likely than not in this draft that that player at #10 will be tall. Also remember we have a stack of midfield talent from last year's draft that is largely untried - Dangerfield, Otten & Cook especially as well as Armstrong & Jacky. We need a couple talls in this draft and as the draft goes on there is a considerable drop off in the talent amongst the talls before we have our second pick.

I am a believer that you need to keep building the talent on your list, first priority "pick 10" we target best available player, after that we can draft to our needs

I am hoping this will be our draft strategy, however it may depend on the Crows level of confidence at having a quality tall available at pick 28

Agree.

The thing with our midfield is, even if Danger fails at the grade, we loose knight and VB to go home factors etc, we still have plenty talanted mids in the waiting.

If we loose Tippett, Sellar doesn't come along and Hentschel can't get back. We have NO CHF after ....Gill, we have Walker at a FF FP prospect but he's not a pack mark guy, we need to stockpile talls.

Also get a tall back to cover a potential Rutten or Bock injury and in the long term, their retirement.

We need a project ruck, KPP's and maybe a speed demon project mid.
