Just for info, the Crows made it to an Elimination Final in 2001, but were flogged by Carlton.
The prediction of a premiership in 2 years was bold, but maybe not so far off?
Crows made it to the Prelim in 2002 and Semi in 2003.
In 2004 we fell off the perch with just 8 wins.

I still remember being shown Napster for the first time. It was the night of the Sydney Olympic Opening Ceremony - Was at my mate's place and it was on tv in the background but there was much more interesting things happening for me that I didn't watch any of it.... downloading music!!
Jeepers I reckon we had the original Telstra Cable back in '01. 6/1 MBit unlimited downloads. I never downloaded music until 2003 - on my grey Acer laptop plugged into the wall internet cable. I still have one relic shit-quality track from those early days on my current laptop. Around that era I also streamed a video on the net for the first time - took half an hour to download and the content was barely recognisable. And now you can watch millions of videos in full HD. I very enthusiastically greeted the advent of Youtube, and got an account in February 2007. By the late 2000s, I had broadband but my data was severely limited - very, very annoying.
