Mark Williams talking about something terrible said to Sam Jacobs and saying "I'd understand it more than most" - Mark had a brother who died didn't he? I'm speechless
Then again Chocco was a flog as a coach himself that said stupid things that hmm maybe get a chair slammed over his head

I said it at the time this all blew up, but we had a playing group who made a Grand Final on the back of the emotion of their transformative coach being murdered, and a group in which multiple players had immediate family members die in the month of finals. There's strong insinuations that they had to face facilitators who used these things as a probe/trigger during camp activities. Whether the club fed the info or not, that's just plain sh*t.

Did basically say we’d burnt our bridges with that family

We ain’t getting Luke
Of course we have. Forget all the other poor decisions I find this one quite staggering. It shows that the people who made this decision have absolutely no feel for the game or footballing nous. Hell Collingwood suffered through one average and one poor Cloke brother until they got the father-son they wanted. We have some really dangerously arrogant, incompetent and apathetic people behind the wheel of this club.

The damning thing from a club perspective is that they fed a lot of private information to CM for them to use as "ammo". That shit doesn't happen in any other corporation and that by itself should get the boss fired.
Is it know the club actually feed them the info?

Is it possible that CM asked players to divulge hardships, etc claiming it was safe space, only to later use it against as means of “toughening them up”??

Why not, if it's happened, this is consider bullying and at any other organisation, confidential agreement or not, the employee can still sue the crap out of them after the fact for physical and mental abuse.
I was more talking in relation to draft picks..... I certainly expect financial punishment

If its just Caro recycling stuff, why did the players have a meeting with Pyke, Burton and Fages with complaints and demands?
There should be 10 clubs where the leaders sat down together this week and had a frank talk. That in itself is not a story.

So what exactly is her new information about this camp that she hasn't written about 6 times already?

Oh, I forgot. Tex had a beer after the season was shot.

This needs to be quarantined off and it needs to be done now. The board needs to get together and arrange an external investigation to get to the bottom of the ongoing problems. Then when the recommendations are at hand, if any member of staff have acted way out of step, they are told they are sacked. What has gone on this year has been awful and it must not spill along any further. I used to think Fagan was on top of things but boy o boy, standards have slipped under his watch.
Yep this. This has now got completely out of control and its time to call it as it is. And the starting point was not the camp, but the lack of due diligence and professionalism around the Burton and Hass appointments and then the appointment of CM. I can't tell you how angry I am. Even in the small businesses I support they would never tolerate this sort of rubbish processes and decision-making. And while it has its faults, people in government and other industries lose their jobs for far less.

Its time for not one, but three things to happen. One, an external investigation into the CM/Camp and two, an external review of corporate processes and culture within the Club and three, a complete review of the Board (what on earth have they been doing through all this??). What they seem to have forgotten is that this is a member organisation. As such, the relatively free-wheeling decision-making that goes on in privately owned organisations cannot and must not happen here. The Board is accountable to us, the members, so the Board is not immune from accountability and review. IMO the Club is now bordering on serious misleading of its members - which, if true, IMO is serious professional misconduct.

It's time to get the big boys in (Deloittes, EY or similar) and turn over every.last.rock. Every.last.one.of.them.

I still find it amazing that we have crickets from the club. Will we get that after the B&F?

I would also add, that if Choccos claims are proven incorrect, the club needs to sue him for defamation.
Not just Choco. If the club can prove any of these stories are defamation, they should have lawyers all over it.

What do you think we'll lose?
Coaches and Board members contracts terminated on the spot and then fired, all players that have taken issue would essentially become uncontracted and would have to renegotiate terms or leave via trade, a fine, either loss of draft picks or loss of premiership points.

This one is the LEAST staggering decision we made TBH. He wasnt considered good enough by any club to draft him, and was only drafted by us due to his name.

If they've spat the dummy it's on them.

The base of this was one of the earliest rumours out of the camp. Purple monkey dishwasher by now. I've heard at least half a dozen variations

A non-answer to a direct question can often be more telling than asking roundabout questions.

The reason they haven't asked hard questions, IMO, is because of the AFL Media accreditation process. You can't ever go too hard, or your accreditation will be revoked.
Which was why the Burton Pyke media conference was better as there were non-football journalists there not afraid to ask tough questions.

If a club didnt receive that kind of punishment for systematically doping its players, we wont get that.

Well Rowie let one slip.

Pyke teared up in front of the group apologising for whats happened. The players rate him and are backing Pyke.

On [device_name] using BigFooty.com mobile app
Pyke hasn't lost the players imo... but how could anyone respect Burton?

He just has go as the club cannot move on from this mess without the architect removed. The dark cloud will always remain until he is cut loose & I worry the club will be too bloody minded & we won't have success until we cut the head off the snake.

Did you know about the meeting the players had at Texs house and then put it to Burton, Pyke and Fages? She broke that.
Theres plenty she added, if you have eyes that want to see it

Its not something I have heard anything special about, Rowie said it a couple of times when Gov leaving was mentioned
He mentioned it Tuesday (maybe Wednesday) on the 5aa morning show about another wanting out, which now appears to have been reference to CEY, though I suspect that’s more to do with opportunity than the camp.

And this is the issue surrounding the lack of front footing by the club. Anything negative that happens can be laid at the camp

The irony or bright side for the club is they can use that and then say ' we have moved on from the camp so no more issues ''
