  1. Part of the camp involved players being tied naked to trees
  2. If what was said to Jacobs was said to Choco, Choco would have smashed them over the head with a chair
Very difficult to smash someone over the head with a chair when you are tied naked to a tree.

Is any of this true?

If so, someone at the club signed off on this.

What were they thinking? It all sounds way too bizarre to be true. I think that the CM press conference has just stirred this all up again, and angered the players as the presser wasn't factual.

If CM did that as they were concerned about reputational damage, wow, what a massive misjudgement they made. Almost unprofessional enough to make one think that some of the allegations about the camp may just be true.

If any of the allegations are true, then CM's decision to do that presser last week is an absolutely incredible act of idiocy.

Pyke hasn't lost the players imo... but how could anyone respect Burton?

He just has go as the club cannot move on from this mess without the architect removed. The dark cloud will always remain until he is cut loose & I worry the club will be too bloody minded & we won't have success until we cut the head off the snake.
If Burton goes so does Pyke and so should Fagan and the board.

But according to Andrew Fagan nobody understands what goes on inside football clubs
Your staff or more specifically the players at a football club are your most important asset... & all should be done to support them to ensure they can perform at their best. It's basic management 101. If you have a toxic manager, you get rid of them asap, as they will infect everyone around them if not dealt with.

Hence Burton must go. No ifs & buts. If Fagan was a competent CEO, he would have already dealt with this...

Do you think Ricciuto would allow Fagan to sack his mate?

He'd rather we lose 5 years of draft picks and half our playing list than see his mate go.

Pyke has at least admitted fault, and the players respect him for it. It almost seems like its Don and the players vs the rest.

Don’t believe anyone was tied naked to a tree. This is ridiculous. No player would allow that to happen to themselves or their mates. Come on. It didn’t happen.
Definitely don’t believe anyone pissed in a bucket and was forced to drink it. Again come on it didn’t happen.
The gravy’s so thick on this story now, I’m starting to doubt everything that’s been claimed is as bad as it’s being reported. About 5% true IMO.

Time someone spoke up if it isn't true. Reaching defamatory levels of epic proportions if its false and the people in print media need to be made accountable for bullshit.

Oh, wow. The players talked to each other. Stop the presses.

Not much that's newsworthy. 90% of what she wrote is what she's been writing since March.
The players talked to each other about the issues they have with the club and called a meeting with Burton, Fages and Pyke where they expressed their concerns with how they were performing.
Thats concerning and newsworthy, and deff wow worthy

I dont think we thought we were weak, but players and coaches felt we needed to be tougher in big moments. Hard to argue really, but yes we do have a resiliant group.
We absolutely had/have a mental weakness problem. Every man and their dog in here were decreeing it every bloody week. To now be sitting there and saying we didn’t need this is mind boggling. We needed help. CM appears NOT to have been the right approach. But we damned needed it then... and we sure as hell will need it after all this palava!
