If it were me, I would demerge the the combined woodville/ west torrens club. I think west torrens was in the most dire straights so I would let woodville take all the current merged clubs facilities, players and finances etc, I would ressurect west torrens, they would then become crows reserves. This would allow the Woodville tradition to continue. It would allow all the SANFL clubs to go on as is. The bye would disappear. It would allow west torrens to begin again and the crows would be on a par with the Power who have the magpies. All crows and power list players pull out of other sanfl teams and join the aligned team. Since west torrens doesnt exist there is no one from that club to get their nose out of joint over the whole issue.

Easy fixed.

Surely the crows + port team would make a farce out of the SANFL?

The two teams featuring 15 AFL listed players every week would play off in the grand final every year.

Brisbane Lions claimed the spoon this year in a much weaker (though underrated) qafl comp. Had an average of 15 listed players each week with the top up players coming from 2nd division club western magpies (generally teenagers).

Id suggest the sanfl clubs would pump the power/crows reserves as they would have different goals and bodies (ie crows very young). Suns reserves had a good season as they had no restrictions and close to 22 listed players each week.

Helps when you have guys like sam day, charlie dixon, harley bennell, daniel harris, nathan krakouer etc running around each week.

This is a good question. How many supporters who followed the Crows since inception actually genuinely support the SANFL?

I honestly have no affiliation to any SANFL team.

I am one that does, I was around before we had an AFL team though.

I still have some old VFL links, Blighty for North Melbourne and Dermi and Dipper for the Hawks.
