Hello all adelaide crows supporters,

I am sending out an appeal to all home game supporters. Could you please cheer as loud and for as long as you can this season. We as a crowd are a joke when ever we are lossing we should get behind our team and cheer even louder.

As hard as it is to say we need to take an example from the power supporters. That lot are about half our crowd side but make more noise than we do. Please dont post crap saying we are louder than they are, because we are not

we have the biggest supporter base and yet we always rely on others to make some noise and cheer.....so this week let have everyone just make the brisbane lions feel like they are in a living hell......even if they still beat us......they will have to fight against us

Peace all

go crows

I remember when my brother went to Adelaide to see an Adelaide vs Kangaroo game he was surprised that they were playing crowd noise over the PA system to make an artifically loud crowd type of atmosphere.

That was a long time ago though. I do not find crow supporters overly loud but the ones that come down to Melbourne usually make a fair bit of noise and support the guys playing here.

I much prefer Adelaide supporters to those of Richmond, Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton. ;)

Actually, I enjoy Richmond crowds because I usually laugh alot as they usually are bagging their own players instead of ours. :p

There are too many non traditional footy supporters who are there for the theatre and not to be part of it.

I was hoarse by quarter time for the first five years of the Crows but it was a hopeless joke

I know just rely on abusing umpries and snide remarks.

The Crows crowd is very weak in general.

Crows98,
Great post, and i will be screaming my lungs out on Saturday, not just if we are in the lead, but at the time the boys need it most... when we are 2 or 3 goals down (which of course won't happen on Saturday)

C'mon 45,000 people at a game, and the collingwood cheersquad make more noise. We were given voices lets use them!

Great post.

Having been a season ticket holder since 1997, I've gotten used to having a quiet crowd, and I absolutely hate it. The most irritating thing is (and especially in the new stand where I sit now), is that other supporters start giving dirty looks and covering their ears whenever I'm cheering the side on. Of course, when I get over laughing at their stupidity and foolishnees, that just makes me want to be louder, and the more looks I get this year, the louder I will get. My attitude to those who don't like this is, if you don't want to cheer the team on, give your ticket up and stay home with your chardonnay!

Everyone that turns up on Saturday should make as much noise as they possibly can. We should be making AAMI Stadium as feared a place as Subiaco, but it isn't for Crows games because of the silence of the supporters.

C'Mon supporters, lets get loud and make AAMI Stadium so loud with our support of the team!

That's what confused me about this thread, first off there's talk that the crowd doesn't make enough noise, but then someone brought up the fact that Matthews trained the Lions with speakers playing specifically an Adelaide Football Club supporting crowd's noise before the 2002 H&A match. I remember it on the news.

I always make noise at the game..and then I get daggers from people. Its pathetic. It's like as if I'm not allowed to cheer because its embarrasing for the people around me.

If they don't like my noise they can go suffer in their jocks! Try the nearest bar and get tanked then!

And Adelaide Girl: I bet you will be cheering for your freddy hey?

I know Stiffy_18 and macca23 concur with each other on virtually everything but this is ridiculous.

Just go to the match and spread your germs to the chardonnay sippers.

I think I caught my at Uni. :(

Temperature of 40 degrees :(

I guess I will have to watch a replay. There will be temptation of tuning in to 5AA.

I was planning to go to SANFL footy on sunday as well.

Well Dave, the lure of watching the game live and the comfort of the corporate box was too much - I ended up dragging myself to the game!!! ;)

They were actually beer drinkers in the box rather than the old chardonnay, but yeah, I think I infected a goodly few of them!!! :D :D
