Big watch for me today is CBA midfield mix and positioning, we've been letting our mids get pushed around and they're constantly behind their opponent. We need a much stronger fight to be first at the ball.

Buckley mentioned last night that its not hard to teach your onballers to rove to the opposition winning ruck.

I've tipped the Crows but had a punt on Carlton, those odds were too hard to resist.

This is exactly what's been happening in recent games. Opp mids first to the ball even when RoB miraculously wins a tap (although TBF, more often than not it's directed to these oppo midfielders), with our mids a metre behind, finally catching them, laying a low tackle, allowing oppo mids to free their arms and dish off to one of their runners. Rinse and repeat.

Yep, when the opposition pressures the ball carrier we can't handle it. We have no back up plan. That's when you see us pull out the rushed dump kicks out of the pack which the opposition are then set up for. Geelong did it in the 2nd half and Freo did it all game.

We need to go all out attack today, that is how we have beaten the Blues the last few times. None of this slow defensive garbage that we seem to have transitioned to the last few weeks.
