I’ve been more patient than most on here with ROB, but he’s been as s**t as anyone.

His contract pisses me off so much. Why’d we give him 4 years on decent coin when he’s a fairly mid-average ruck. There’s really only a few teams with truly game changing ruckmen that are worthy of big contracts. The rest just have players that they hope can help them break even. Why did we sink $$ and years in to someone who isn’t ever going to win us a game. He can’t ****en kick ffs and he’s suddenly lost the ability to mark also.

I have a hotel in the city so I will be getting blind drunk to help with the pain of another loss or a wild party at the casino to celebrate an unlikely victory. Either way I'm gonna enjoy myself as much as I can.


Reality is we are a shit team and now our expectations for this season are in the gutter the losses won't hurt as much

Going to be a very interesting first quarter. Nicks is predictable in his changes and I can almost guarantee we swap to an ultra attacking mindset this week where we go through the corridor every single time. It will be a take the game on gameplan from Nicks.

Going to be a very very very different looking side from the group that lost by 3 points last year:

Missing: Schoenberg, Sloane, Milera, Cook, Murphy, Murray, McAdam, Thilthorpe, Butts, Lately.

He did this for the 1st quarter against Fremantle and then changed back to the defense game plan so.....

Who ever replaces Milera, I hope they take the game on more. Milera whether be it coaching or of his own choosing has slowed up play a lot by stopping and going back behind his mark rather than playing on.

I think its definitely in the running, Carlton win last year and the Showdown wins would have to rate right up there. Dawson goal after the siren was special, it crashed Bigfooty.

I am certain part of the reason that Gather Round was such a success last year, was because we beat Carlton to open it up and the State was buzzing and up and about.

A humiliating loss and I can see a lot of the locals not giving a stuff. Good thing we should have more interstate visitors this year, but can't help but think us getting smacked first up will take some of the shine off Gather Round as an Adelaide event.

You dont need to when you are the OP of a thread you can do it anytime. George Kramer just needs to click on the three dots on the right side.

Ok, you doom and gloomers, I have some good news, the Crows will do the unthinkable and win, here’s the rationale to my madness:

We have to win sometime
We will bring the pressure big time
Tex sick of carrying the team on his back, will ignore that and shine against his mate Lever
Nicks will release the shackles and scrap his stupid gameplan
Nicks will drop a dud in Murphy
Nicks will recall Nank and debut Dowling, fresh faces, fresh team
Dees were super efficient with their forward 50 entries and couldn’t miss, that won’t happen 2 weeks in a row
Dees will have relaxed too much visiting our wine regions

Crows by 5 or 7 points, load up, both are paying $61

This is exactly the kind of game we'd show up for last year. Not confident though. 10+ goal loss for mine.
