Agree that the game itself was crap, but for once we didn't get completely overran in the last quarter. I would've thought that would've been worth a somewhat less forced rendition of the song.

Are you planning to keep moving the Bulldogs down the list of sides with every post?

They won a bunch of games in the last half of last year and everyone was predicting them to be the big improvers this year. They're clearly competitive, and they're in the clump of sides fighting for 6th to 12th, like us.

And we recruited Pods to help our young forwards develop and to keep us competitive til Walker returns.

I thought it was a pretty good win... Still scrappy as hell in patches but for the first time this year we ve been in a close one... I was high fiving the neighbour after the betts 'steal'... Heart was pumping and very glad we got up. 3-3 is a hell of alot better then 2-4.

Individually their errors are palatable, it's just when they both have bad games it really exposes us at the back. We make an inordinate amount of mistakes leading to goals and those two are unfortunately the main culprits, which undoes all the good work they might do when we play sides like GWS and St. Kilda.

Matty Wright hit the post from 5cm out in the 4th qtr when there was no reason for him to attempt to kick the ball. Jenkins hit the post from an easy set shot. It balances.

We won largely because of the superhuman efforts of Dangerfield and Lynch in the first 3 quarters, and the combo of Jenkins and Sloane in the 4th. That combined with the fact that the Dogs aren't very good.

Matty J and Reily not great today. One of them has to make way for Lyons or CEY. Also Pets didnt do enough today either, but had a couple of good games prior so its in keeping with the consistancy of all good small forwards. If he plays another dud game i really think the time has come to give Cameron a game or two just to see if can do something nice.
