I used to sit near people like that, at the games. (Except they never really got going with the positive stuff) I moved seats because they were spoiling my enjoyment of the game.

There's a limit to how much "moaning about mistakes" is reasonable (even though we all do it) before actually supporting and encouraging the team needs to kick in. Which is, I would think, what supporters are kind of supposed to do.

Heck, even the coaching staff, whose job it is to identify and correct mistakes, wouldn't moan and groan as much as some supporters do.

I sit just below the Audi club - so it's quiet up that way.

You're probably right. That doesn't change the fact that Dwayne is a truly terrible commentator. He undoubtedly made more mistakes today than Brent Reilly did.

Why do people listen intently to the commentators in the first place?

They are often just a back up reference point in case you missed something. Most should know the crows players and pay attention to what is happening.

They are just background noise 95% of the time.

Because people post with emotions about the negative things they see and the stand up and celebrate with enjoyment the positive things. One they have finished celebrating, the game as moved on and it's too late to post.

Its the same as being at the ground, the first time most people do is moan and groan about the mistakes and then clap, yell and scream about the positive things. You use a different part of your brain.

He needs to be on a wing or HFF. A liability in defense, especially when the pressure is on.

His defending this year til today has been sound.

Judging on previous year mj is irrelevant.

Well to be fair, they're paid to be there and watch the game, where as we pay to be there and watch the game.

Look I love Danger as much as the next guy, but if hes not right, he shouldn't be out there, he was defensively, like I said, a liability, watching him at stoppages he couldn't go with his direct opponent, I counted 3 times in a five minute span, his direct opponent got the clearance, as Danger couldn't go with him, injury not withstanding.

What gets up my goat is people who leave early. You can be positive or negative but I believe if you want to be there for the good times - you must be willing to stick around in the bad.
