Or is it going to be shown on delay at 830pm with 5even showing the 1st qtr probably not till 9pm????

Looks like any concerns for Victoria not getting it live have been avoided, with Tim Watson saying on SEN yesterday coverage will start at 8:00pm EST

Bounce down is 7:45 local time and on AA last night Cornes was saying that it will be on TV at 8pm so it will be half an hour delayed. I just checked the TV guide, they must be doing a double ep of home and away on Thursday because Better Homes and Garden starts at 7pm on Friday with the Footy starting at 8pm.

Coverage starts at 8:30pm here in the ACT. That's a delayed telecast (30 min) - but coverage does start 1 hour earlier than the H&A rounds did (usually a 2-hour delay).

I couldn't agree more. If you live in Adelaide GO to the game and cheer your guts out. Don't sit at home and watch it on the TV!!

I am very happy that it is going to be live into Melbourne!! Should be a good night, I'm going to watch it at a bar in Richmond with my sister and some essendon supporter mates!

People may be encouraged NOT to purchase a ticket if they know its live on tv.

I hope they show the coverage as late as possible into Adelaide, unless its a sellout.

Live finals unlikely: Demetriou

AFL CHIEF executive Andrew Demetriou says it is unlikely this weekend's two finals matches at the MCG will be broadcast live against the gate.
On Saturday afternoon, Geelong and the Western Bulldogs clash in the second qualifying final and on Sunday St Kilda and Collingwood meet in the first qualifying final.

If either of the MCG finals is a sell-out Demetriou said that the AFL would consider showing the games live.
There were also a number of other considerations that the AFL was taking into account with live finals.

So Brisbane v Carlton and Crows V Essendon will be live, others will be delayed into home states.

My dad was hoping it would be live but apparenlty in Marree they probally won't even have telecast haha. Picked the wrong week to go away!!
