Theres some nice passages of play, some good marking and some good skills on display. Lots of positives to be taken away IMO. For a first semi competitive hitout as teams, this was ok.

For a first hit out i thought it was pretty good.
Conditions looked warm and ball would have been greasy i guess.
It was a bit more congested than I thought it would be.
Some good talent out there.
Looking forward to the real deal starting.
Anyone any idea on numbers who watched it at the ground and live streamed it?

In Perth Radio 6PR briefly mentioned the game on Friday, since then nothing. Their Breakfast program has a 5 minute Sports Roundup at 8 am again nothing.
However it did make with vision the Evening News Sports section on at least station that we noticed, and said 2000 spectators.
This league is not yet really embedded into the Footy public world, and that will grow during the season. Early days we guess.

Couldn't make Carl v Melb today because of work but through Twitter looked like the Blues dominated but will make the Coll v WB game Thursday

Unfortunately I'm barracking for Collingwood in AFLW (Sydney) as I've been down to training a few times, close to home and Moana Hope's story is too good to pass up!
